So I went through Titan about a year and a half ago, around April 2024 right after we closed on our new home. Being a FL resident for years, I knew the quality of water was bad and likely doing damage to my pipes and/or major appliances. So I was definitely on the market for a filtration system. I didn’t have a clue how they work or who to use. When you’re a new homeowner you get all types of ads in the mail and salespeople knocking on your door “promising one time deals.” They are pushy and just won’t take no for an answer. But I never received any material from or about Titan.
So how did I stumble upon them and choose them? The old fashioned way…..word of mouth. A ton of my neighbors were using Titan systems and all had positive things to say. So I called Titan and spoke with them. Not only were they very knowledgeable, they explained it in a way that I could understand. And the water softener (the salt system)? WOW. I noticed a difference the first shower I took! Oh and they scheduled my installation the next day and had it done pretty quickly. On top of that, as a military veteran, I got a little bit of a discount plus my first year of Titan Care (salt refills and maintenance) for free. And the annual fee for that isn’t bad either. It’s definitely worth it for them to come and put in salt and manage the system so it’s covered by warranty.
I recently had an issue….or what I thought was an issue so I started reading some of the “negative” reviews on here. But something didn’t feel legit about those reviews. So I wrote an email to the company asking if they could possibly test my water or look at my system as a blackish/pinkish ring would keep forming in my toilets about two weeks after my wife deep cleaned them. Never happened at previous homes without a filtration system. I took before and after pics and provided them in the email for reference. My initial email I will admit was a bit angry. I mean, hey, I did spend a lot of money and thought maybe there was something wrong. But I decided to write a follow up email either the pictures and explained that I wasn’t looking to fight or argue but to cordially discuss the issue. The owner responded pretty quickly and because of my pictures, was able to tell me what was going on and why. In fact, their website has an entire section dedicated to issues like this that most people, like me, don’t bother reading. So basically, because certain chemicals are stripped out of the water, the toilet water lacks chlorine which kills certain bacteria. I won’t get too graphic, but it will lead to a pinkish ring that can turn black. It has nothing to do with the quality of the water or system; simply that fatty acids from stool and other secretions cannot be entirely cleaned away because of the dangerous chemicals stripped out. Solution? Put a Clorox tablet inside the back bowl area. I did that and the problem has pretty much gone away. Doesn’t mean you’ll never clean your toilet obviously but just putting that out there. I thought that the 5 or 6 emails between me and the owner discussing this issue (on a weekend) was pretty nice.
So I definitely recommend Titan to anyone who is looking. They are more affordable than others and they have been doing this a long time. They know the water here. And if you have an issue, handle it politely and I’m sure you will get a polite response. We are all human. Sometimes it’s something little (like my issue where it just needs to be explained). Other times it’s a minor issue that can still easily be resolved. Or maybe it’s a major issue and if you need help they will come and address it. Either way, communication is key and being respectful is a great...
Read moreThis company doesn't care about customer loyalty. I have been a customer for two years. On June 23rd they sent me an email that my service contract will expire at the end of the month. Not even giving a two weeks notice. I asked them about the price, they told me it was $250 per year to put salt into the system every 8 weeks. I told them I will think about it. I talked to the lady, who works in the office on the 30th, she was so rude, even beyond rude. She really turned me off. On July 5th I decided to send them an email to send me a link to make a payment, and on July 8th they sent me an invoice for $299.00. Needless to say, I didn't extend their service contract. I just found out that they didn't use enough salt either. Don't waste your time and money with this company. This is my reply to the owner's response: I haven't received any phone calls on 6/04/2025 regarding the renewal. When I talked to the rude lady who works in the office, she never mentioned that the rate will go up. I talked to my neighbor about my experience and the fact that my water smells bad sometimes, and she suggested to take a look at the tank. To my surprise there was barely any salt in the tank and it was dirty. She said if I was on a maintenance plan, the level of salt should have never been so low. No, thank you, I would never want your maintenance plan for $299, and not even put salt in the tank or clean the tank. I can do a better job myself.
Update 09-17-2025. It turns out that the drain line was installed improperly by Titan Water Solutions, causing a washout. I talked to my neighbor and turned out that she had the same issue. I contacted Titan, and I was told that they won't fix this issue. If you read the good reviews, it is because they beg people to leave good reviews and they give $100 for...
Read moreI just purchased my first home and naturally I wanted the best possible water filtration system money can buy. I met with so many companies but felt that most systems seemed too overpriced and had little to no financing options if I didn’t meet their criteria for approval. They’d then come back to charge even more or ask me to pay the whole thing off up front. At $5500 - $9500 this is a cost that would be too pricey for most. About to give up on the last week before I made a final decision, I shuffled through all the door hangers, post cards offering free gift cards and realized I had one company that had attempted to reach me I had not spoken to.. I called them at 11pm that night after watching so many you tube videos to make sense of it all. The rep who had left his flyer couldn’t make it out and said he would have his manager call me to schedule the next day. When his manager showed up, he was actually the company owner who never really does house calls but wanted to help his rep out and myself to get the information. I was impressed with how he explained how their unique system and materials inside their systems work, he addressed my health concerns for the water quality specific to my area and quoted me a very reasonable price. He financed me on the spot and very easily and had everything installed the next morning. After showering with my new system, the itching under my armpits was immediately relieved and my skin instantly soft. I can’t recommend this company enough, and if their product is good enough to place in one of the largest hospitals in the area, it meets my standards for quality as well. I’d like to thank Mr. Tellander (company owner) for providing a quality product at a great price. I just wish I would have met with...
