New Ownership… We have been ordering the same menu items for over 14 years. In the reviews years ago, a 5 ⭐️ rating from our family is floating out there b/c every order has been consistently delicious. That said, I placed a take out order this weekend, got home and looked at the food. Not only packaged and looked differently with smaller portions but, tasted very different as well with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice was undercooked plain yellow rice- no onions, peas or carrots. The egg rolls were mushy and were not the same texture. The vegetable lo mien was so salty we could not eat it. I called the restaurant and gave my opinion of the food we received and truly hope my criticism was taken constructively to improve the quality of food from a restaurant we have been regular customers of over many years. Ordered Mongolian Beef, the entrée had so many onions and NO BEEF! I couldn't believe the amount of beef they actually put in this dish. The quality was terrible, the House Fried Rice had all pork in it, and nothing else. The only thing that was fairly decent were the chicken wings. I called to ask about the Mongolian Beef, the girl who answered stated, "It has onions". When I told her it "was all onions" and that I specifically asked for them to cut back on the onions when I ordered. After receiving no credible answer to my question, she spoke to the manager who said, "I should have ordered extra beef", because that is what they put in every dish. I love this place. Been living in the area for 4 years and I couldn’t find a good Chinese restaurant until my first time here 3 weeks ago and I’ve already come back twice. It is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the entire Tampa Bay area. I’ve tried a variety and have never been satisfied until now. This place is great, the people who work there are friendly and very polite and professional. I am happy I finally discovered my “go-to” place. Before I found this place I was reduced to ordering Panda Express, but now never again will I need to order from Panda. I found the gem of Tampa Bay. Coming from NY this is important to me.
