I have been interested in taking the freediving course for a while but held off until I found a place that I felt comfortable with. I was very fortunate enough to finally come across Zephyr Freediving. Jillian was very informative from the moment I reached out to inquire about classes. Her itineraries are very detailed and she lays out the course requirements ahead of time.

Jillian is an amazing instructor. She is passionate, attentive, patient, and kind. The classroom experience was very engaging. Jillian was very patient during the pool and open water sessions. She continuously checked in with me after each task to ask how I was feeling and also provide constructive feedback. She radiates with excitement each time I met my milestones and it really helped motivate me to get better. There were a few times during the open water session where I was nervous to go to depth. During these times, Jillian was extra empathetic and would talk me through my feelings. After our talks, I found that I was more relaxed and able to complete the milestones. After completing the course, I can’t stress how important it is to have an instructor with Jillian’s qualities to lead these courses. I've encountered many instructors in my diving career. I always research before choosing one. After observing Jillian and how she runs her classes, I decided to take my freediving class with her. I must say, her knowledge and teaching style was very impressive. Her can-do attitude, professionalism, focus on safety, and attention to detail stood out. I earned my PADI Freediver certification with Zephyr Freediving and it was fantastic. Jillian is patient, clear, enthusiastic, and professional. She takes the time to ensure you’re feeling confident and comfortable throughout the course. As a scuba diver, I wasn’t sure freediving would be a good fit for me because I was worried a breathhold would feel limiting underwater.
