Because they only have one employee, and have a disorganized focus of half shop half coffee shop/CBD dispensary, they are unable to provide coffee in a timely fashion to people coming in to buy coffee. My boyfriend and I came in to just get coffee today. We are locals we’re not on vacation. The ONLY employee took full food and smoothie orders and then PROCESSES them and made the food and smoothies BEFORE taking the next order. There was only one employee which is extremely unusual. Still, most people take orders in a row and then make everybody’s food one at a time. So I was standing at the register for an inordinate amount of time and my boyfriend and I left. This is not the first time we’ve had to wait an unusual amount of time here and if it was gonna take this long to even order, what was the point. What a drag.
I think they need to follow the example of other coffee shops and just focus on coffee and food and not worry about trinkets and baubles and clothing. Then they would understand why people just wanna get coffee and don’t really want to be bothered to wait for other people‘s whole breakfast to be made to get a coffee. Furthermore, due to all the weird clothes and vacation souvenirs from the 90’s for sale, was very little room in the shop for people to sit and eat their food and drinks while people waited in line so the patrons who had food went outside, even though it was a hot day. In general, this was a negative experience because I left without my coffee after being there what I would consider too long amount of time. if you sort these reviews by NEWEST you’ll see that many people have one and two star reviews here. So I am pretty sure that a lot of people are having negative experiences here too because the reviewS show a lot of negative experiences. The owner responds to reviews with a snippy responses which shows me that they are not taking seriously the multiple feedbacks that they are not...
Read moreI really never was a coffee shop type of girl until we discovered this amazing laid back coffee shop on good old Singer Island! I grew up on Singer Island way back in the mid 70’s - a lot has changed since then. My son and I were back visiting family and decided to stop in for a quick pick me up! Little did I know how awesome this place was ….I am now obsessed with their caramel cappuccinos! We chatted with the owner John - what a kindhearted, personable guy! We could stay and talk for hours about any topic! John makes you feel like you’ve know him for years! After a few days we finally met his wife Lisette- super friendly as well! So far it’s our daily routine morning and evening- can’t say enough about this awesome place! Highly recommend! Trust me once you visit this place your going to make it a part of your...
