Only having my furniture set for about 3 months, the couch was creaking and then it finally just broke. The first time they came to pick up the furniture to fix it, we were told that there was only ONE piece of plywood keep the chairs together. So after they brought it back i noticed gaps between the cushions and the bar things at the bottom that holds the four ends of the couch up. Also after about 2 months of having it fixed the first time at the bottom of the couch you can see the black cover falling down with staples falling out . So now we have to call them again to fix it or replace the entire thing this time. It’s very nice furniture i love the gray and yellow pillows but it’s almost like the set is not meant for “everyday use” and it sucks because who doesn’t want to be able to stretch out on their couch and relax coming in from a long day of work, or even just relaxing on it to watch movies. I’m even embarrassed to invite people over because of it. Once you sit on the couch it literally sinks to the ground like the couch’s bottom touches my floor. Kinda looks like |__| instead of |—| . Once you sit on it. Please schewls come and pick up this furniture and replace it not fix it but replace it with something else because the first fix didn’t...
Hello my name is Anna Beets on Saturday March 27 2021, I called Schewels Furniture in Roanoke Rapids to make a payment on my account, I literally called 3 times and all 3 times they put me on hold for a very long time, finally Sara the credit manager answered the phone and when I told her I have been calling and put on hold for A very long time her response was " No you have not called this store" I continue to explain that in fact I was calling the Roanoke Rapids store, she continue tolitwrally yell at me and told me Ma'am you have not called this store and hung up the phone on me, I have been a faithful customer with Schewels I have always played all my accounts in a timely manner BUT I will never Buy anything...
Read moreI am truely dissatisfied with the way my situation was handled. The managers appeared to be very helpful however they sent service people out several times and each time they reported that there was nothing wrong with a $2,000+ sofa that has been cracking and shaky since it was brought into my home. Each time the manager promised to further investigate took the word of service person. Which the first persons word was furniture was settling. Have you ever heard of such? Been complaining within first 30 days of receipt old you still paying. Beware you only have five days to complain. Unsatisfied customer with this creaking...
