Grandin Village Farmers Market — Local services in Roanoke

Lots of local stuff here! Why spend your money at a big box store when you can get your stuff here. They have meat, eggs, fruits, veggies, coffee, juice, soap, honey, spices, hot sauce, bread, cakes, and much more. They do the market on Saturdays (I hope they extend it to Sundays eventually). You can use cash, card, or tokens from SNAP benefits here. They also give you double the SNAP value I believe. A few things I also get here exclusively is the coffee from Asher's Coffee (also has a storefront downtown) and the juice from Field Day (also located inside Cardinal Bicycle). For everything else I'll shop at multiple different places each time to spread the support. If possible you want to go early because some of the places will sell out. Overall, if you're local, or just in town for the weekend, you should stop in and get some of what Roanoke has to offer. My favorite farmers market type thing in the 540. (I'm sorry I dont have pictures. You'll just have to trust me...

Local farmers and artisans making our Community so rich and here is a market full of them. Everyone is quite friendly and family oriented. Great place to find home grown/home made goodness. Can be busy. Make sure you look at all the booths, everyone deserves a chance to sell...

It's nice that they have a market. The one thing that I have to say is that everything is overpriced. To be local and all that business it doesn't need to be pretentiously priced. This is something that the Grandin area does very well......
