Verizon — Local services in Roanoke

Few notes to describe this organization.... the best part is at the end, so please read full review. First for full disclosure, my wife worked there. She won contests for items and was denied the items when they would not be used in the way wireless zone saw fit. They changed the schedule at least every other day. Which if you have a family you can understand is quite a challenge. She put in her two weeks notice yesterday, and they decided to go ahead and terminate her. In her exit interview, her store manager Chase, could only say we are letting you go. Could not provide proof of wrong doing or under performance. They claimed they were just denying the two weeks notice. HERE IS THE KICKER FOR CUSTOMERS, their surveillance cameras record audio in the stores. So be advised that your personal information is being recorded OFF SITE when you give your SSN, address, or any other confidential information. While I will never do business with them, to protect your personal information and well being, you should not either. They can claim they can do this because by VA law they can record if one party gives consent. Which they have from the employees. So while it is legal, please protect yourself. Thanks for reading my review. Since all the retailers are shady, I would suggest buying from the only REAL verizon store in town at Valley View. While the wait may be longer, you can rest assured that you are not dealing with shade...

Went to the Verizon store location on orange ave in roanoke va to get help with my phone because it wouldn't charge up correctly and the retail guy there acted like he didn't want to help me with my problem. When he asked me if I had a warranty and I told him I didn't know but I had not have had the phone lthat ong he told me I had to take my phone back to the Verizon store I bought it from all the way on the other end of the town just to see when I got it. I asked him couldn't he look that up he said no he couldn't look up my info about my contract or phone. I knew instantly that was a lie because all the other retail people that have worked at the exact same location have been able to help me there before at that exact store location. He sent me all the way over to the other side of town to find out all I needed was to buy a wireless charging station. The retail guy at orange ave store could have sold me that at his store to start with and saved me two other stores to drive to and time and also gas. Your retail guy at orange always seems to not want to help anyone anytime you go in this store always sitting he can't take payments or he can't look at your account. But he always can find a way to help any young beautiful single woman his age out. I have been a customer for over 10 years and counting and should be treated better then this guy treated me. This is a on going issue at this store at 3440 orange ave...

My husband and I switched our service to this store after years of frustration in dealing with another store that was anything but helpful. We were greeted by Hunter, who immediately asked upon us entering the store, if he could help us. We had quite a few things to take care of and along with Hunter, we also worked with Matthew and Chase as well. All three of these men were very helpful, knowledgeable at their jobs, have great personalities, extend outstanding customer service, and above all else, are genuinely kind people. I have had to call back to the store a couple of times with questions and I been treated just the same as when in the store. Hunter has truly went above and beyond to help us and for that, we are so appreciative. We should have made this switch years ago, huge thank...
