I appreciate the low prices and interesting products at this store. However, I hope the biggest boss is reading this and will respond to my review. YOUR STORE HOURS INDICATE THAT YOU ARE OPEN UNTIL 8 PM. THIS MEANS YOU SHOULD BE OPEN UNTIL 8 PM, NOT 7:45, 7:50, OR 7:55. I drove 20 minutes to get one item, white cherries, which would have taken me only 1-2 minutes to buy it. UNFORTUNATELY, YOUR EMPLOYEE REFUSED ME ENTRY BEFORE THE CLOSING TIME. Now I will need to spend 40 minutes driving there again another day, specifically for this. HAVE YOU CONSIDERED THAT THIS IS HOW YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS?

IF YOU WANT TO CLOSE THE STORE EARLIER, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ONLINE SCHEDULE AND THE SCHEDULE ON YOUR DOOR TO REFLECT THAT. Otherwise, customers expect the store to be open until the posted time. REFUSING ENTRY BEFORE CLOSING TIME IS NOT ONLY INCONVENIENT BUT ALSO MISLEADING.

It has happened to me more than once, and I'm sure other customers have experienced this as well. DO YOUR EMPLOYEES DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE, OR DO YOU PERMIT IT? Please ensure your employees follow the posted hours. CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO RUSH TO YOUR STORE ONLY TO BE REFUSED ENTRY BEFORE CLOSING TIME. I kid you not! Best”hidden gem” in Rockaway. I went to buy some pasta and bread for my dinner I was cooking and literally spent $8.55 on 7 items!! You cannot beat their prices anywhere. If you want fresh produce, international products, dairy, deli or seafood here is where to come! Their fresh items are plentiful and continually replenished. Talk about the seafood! You can purchase frozen, pre packed frozen or fresh and specially cut by an expert to your liking for exceptional prices. Stop at the Deli Department and have the clerk slice fresh for you your meats and cheeses. Be sure to tip him generously as he slices and prepares your order with care and attention to detail whether you ask for it or not. They also have a floral department upfront with fresh flowers, plants, balloons and stuffed animals. You can have a floral arrangement made up in minutes also for a great deal! In our travels all over New Jersey we constantly check out farmers markets and this is one we discovered about a year ago. Since that time we've been back here about six times always walking out with several bags of great fruits and vegetables and if the weather is not too warm then we'll buy some fish or crabs.

The people that work in the fish department are always helpful with the selection and scaling our fish for us as well as giving us some ice to keep them fresh on the trip home.

During this whole Corona event, we've found that they have always been well-stocked and eggs and milk while other stores for empty.

Yet another reason to shop farmers markets!
