I have not had Thai food at all until i was introduced by a Tenant of mine to this place. I will start this review out with the outside and work my way to the food. The parking is great. All off street parking in a lot owned by the restaurant and garden people who share the yard and part building i believe. Once you walk through the doors, the atmosphere changes to Thai. Between the decor and waitresses, you legit went to Thailand. The food is great. They have lunch specials between 11am and 3pm that are a bit smaller than the entrees (yet just as filling without the take home or unate food) and come with a soup or salad. The salad is what i enjoy the most next to the Jasmine rice. The salad comes with this peanut dressing that is different but amazing. The entrees come with rice or jasmine rice (depending; some have options others have jasmine but you can always substitute) and always come with peppers or onions in the sauce (again, these will be listed on the menu under each name). I usually get anything with pineapple and...
Read moreThis spot was a good find. Authentic Thai food. We ordered drunken noodles with shrimp as our main dish and we're surprised by the taste of it. This is a must try. We also ordered fried calamari which tasted decent and not rubbery and oily, along with Tom Yum soup with shrimp as appetizers. I'm personally not an ice tea lover but if you come here do give their Thai Ice Tea a shot. It's different from any other ice tea I tried so far. The ambience was cozy and the overall food experience was really good. Honestly I didn't go there with a very high expectation but it turned out to be pretty satisfactory. I'm surely going for their other dishes next time I'm visiting NJ. Last but not the least their thai pudding with sticky rice dessert was priceless. A bundle of joy in your mouth. The sticky rice, the salty coconut cream and the fresh pudding was a killer combination, just the right amount of sweetness, the way I love it. P.S. we took all shrimp items as this wasn't a halal spot for which we couldn't try...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this Thai restaurant for 14 years, and it’s hands down the best Thai food you’ll find in NJ. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu – tom yum soup, spring rolls, papaya salad, red curry, green curry, penang curry, fried triangle tofu, drunken noodles (pad kee mao), pad thai, pad khing sod, Thai nam phet salad, Thai fried rice, basil fried rice, and even mango with sticky rice – and every single dish has been a 10/10.
It’s rare for me to love everything at a restaurant, but this place has never missed. The flavors are always perfect, portions are generous, and in all these years, they’ve never made a mistake with my order. If you’re looking for authentic, consistently amazing Thai food, this is the spot. My absolute favorite restaurant – no...
