Sandwiches Unlimited Lunch Box — Restaurant in Rockaway

Friday we as in wife daughter and I are driving home after visiting Ma & Dad my in laws. Wife say I am hungry what to get do a Google search. Sandwich Unlimited is on the radar where is it oh it's on 46 ok cool. When we pull in the lot I say ok cool always wonder what was over here.

Step inside to a nicely lit store where you can see everything. I mean like if there was dust or dirt you would see it. No such thing shop is super clean thanks I love that. We look at the menu carnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike are covered. Wife ordered the Italian sub I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak daughter the eggplant parm. All I can tell you about the taste of their sandwiches is they finished the half subs. I on the other hand devoured my sandwich the bread was so damn fresh I would swear they just baked it. The steak cooked perfectly not salty or anything like that. We all were very happy with our choices.

It's Sunday heading to brother house wife said we didn't eat today let's go to Sub place. Yes I need to see if they are real wife orders the Philly cheesesteak this time I order the roast beef turkey sub and we get a side of onion rings. What can I say about the onion rings but whaaaaaatttttt. Bread fresh roast beef turkey good lettuce tomatoes red onions fresh. BEST sandwich joint this side of the Hudson! Remember what subs used to be like before. Subway & Quik Check came along....with one slice of lunchmeat & half a piece of cheese w/ chopped romaine lettuce stalks??! Sandwiches Unlimited does! Order a sub & you get the REAL thing...meat, cheese, shredded lettuce, oil & vinegar on an 8inch or foot long roll, that takes you a minute to figure out how you'll get the whole thing in your mouth!! Perfection! & the choices??? You name it....they've got it & it's delicious! Their menu is vast, but they have NO problem making it exactly the way you like. Their soups, salads, & appetizers are great too...we're still trying to find something we DON'T like...everything is better than the next. If they delivered, I'd order from them every single, day. As it is, we've been ordering 2x/week...it's even worth schlepping out in the frigid air for their food! We frequent the shop in Rockaway (the strip mall across the street from Rockaway Lanes, where Rockaway Sales used to be)...but they also have a shop in Ledgewood. If you love a good sub, (or cheese steak, sloppy Joe, salad, burger, cheese fries w/ gravy, etc) give them a try....you'll end up...

This place is really clean and immaculate the service is terrific very personable and very friendly. Has the best garlic pickle I have ever had though you have to pay extra to get one but that's OK because it was worth it. Sandwiches are piled high with meat. Compare that to other places were you get like 2 slices meat! I got the number one standard Italian's sub ( at least I think it was number 1 - correct me if I'm wrong :) They even have quaint little lunch boxes for purchase for little kids ! I 1st started using them 1 night when they first opened many years ago but it was when they were in another location in Rockaway.
