Buckbee Weed Co. inside Half Baked Bar — Local services in Rockford Township

Sadly I wanted to like this place, but it's just not the spot. My experience: THCa flower was bone dry, even the boost pack inside the lid was bone dry. The strain I bought was "Honey Bun". It barely had a smell, but what little smell it did have when I broke it up was like cat urine and fishy river/sewer water. It smells like it was grown in a dirty swamp. I don't think the product was tainted, I just think its been sitting too long, and probably didn't come from a good grower. It was soo dried out that it definitely didn't weigh right either, not that it matters at this point.

The thing about flower is that terpenes make the smell (and are a large part of the effects hemp offers, not just the THCa), and they evaporate, so once flower is allowed to dry out, the terpenes are simply gone, no amount of rehydrating will bring it back. So the product is essentially expired at that point.

I wish I didn't have to make a negative review. I'm not even trying to be a disgruntled customer, it just wasn't a product fit to be sold, definitely not fresh. I would imagine that the jar I got wasn't any different than the rest of them. Even the CBD shop on State street had stronger and better smelling flower, but obviously I came here for the THCa flower.

It's a shame because there are plenty of mail to order companies that offer twice as much weight for the same price, and fresh. Even the bottom barrel stuff at Sunnyside is better than this, and cheaper. I guess I got got, and I'm guessing that virtually every other customer that goes here feels the same.

They could easily offer fresh good stuff and make bank. I don't know why they aren't. Can't say anything about the rest of their products, but based on the temperature in the store, which was on the hot side, their products have to be degrading rapidly, because it was over 80 degree's in there. In those temperatures, virtually any cannabis product would degrade in a matter of weeks. But that's clearly only part of the problem. They need a completely new supplier.

The banana kish is right on!! Great flavor a nice relaxing state of mind. Furple haze has a nice taste to it this one is a lower percentage but takes care of the job! Overall the bud is very nice quality and great prices compared to local competitors.

I also have enjoyed some candies! My favorite is the gummy-o the flavor is amazing you can barely tell it's a thc candy! Even my husband enjoyed them!

original experience I made my first order online for local delivery! The website doesn't say anything about an arrival time or date so I waited 4 hrs to call and check on it. I figured local delivery would be like getting a door dash. Absolutely not! I called the store and he had to call someone else to ask when it would get to me. I was told after 430 that day, it didn't arrive. I received an email stating it would be here the next day.

I did finally receive my order but it was very disappointing!!! I order a cartridge, battery, and 2 cookies over 60 bucks worth of product! My cookies were hard as rocks I paid 5 bucks per cookie! 😔 the taste was not very good either. I will not be back and I'm so disappointed because this was legit the only place I found with cookies in our area. You shouldn't have to hold a 5 dollar cookie in milk for 5 minutes just to be able to bite it without breaking a tooth.

My cartridge tastes like strawberry banana tho and that price wasn't bad so I'll give them that upper hand. Hopefully delivery will get better as they go and a better description can be added to when products...
