Davis Park at Founders Landing — Attraction in Rockford Township

OMG soo many memories of the Rockford Dam.. spent more nights than I wanted to back then sitting on the bank directly in front of the dam with my father God rest his soul fishing well he was fishing I was more like a young spoiled brat preteen complaining about how I just wanted to go home or go skating it was so boring my dad would say 10 more minutes sis and if I don't get a bite we'll go.. Once I grew into an adult and got married I actually loved fishing and there was many nights I spent before my father passed on that same bank in the same exact spot he'd always fished with my husband and my oldest kids.. that's where my dad got his biggest catfish ever 25lbs.
