Carousel Florist — Local services in Rockledge

I was in need of a florist to craft a specific design idea I had for an anniversary arrangement. While driving home from work, I asked Siri to find a florist close to me. I ended up at the Carousel Florist warehouse/production shop rather than the Carousel Florist store front. Oops... blame that mistake on Siri and the fact I'm new to the area. But what a fortuitous mistake it turned out to be!!

I ended up speaking with a gentleman named Mike and he listened to me explain what I wanted, and the story behind the request. I left there feeling like Mike knew exactly what I was in search of and that the arrangement was going to be pretty good.

Pretty good was an understatement!! When it arrived the next day at our home, my wife was throroughly surprised and instantly flooded with emotions, as she fully understood the arrangment. NO WORDS NEEDED!! I like to think I did a fairly good job explaining the idea, but it was Carousel Florist's execution of the order that absolutely nailed it. This was my first opportunity for needing floral services sincd I moved to the area and I'm happy to say I've found a vendor that I will trust with my next order. I purchased flowers yesterday as a birthday gift. Today what arrived was nothing short of disappointing. What was online was not what I received, it had the correct flowers but they were cheaply put together. I even asked friends for their opinion and they all said it looked “ugly”. When I called and spoke with Jennifer, she offered little help besides a 20 % refund. For reference, this arrangement should have had candles and I got two purple and two white. Her response ? They don’t control what candles they have. When I asked if she saw it before it went out, she said no. I was also told that they could go and fix it by shoving down an awkwardly standing rose on a flat bed of flowers, but the surprise is ruined at that point. I would like to say, the delivery was prompt and ordering was easy but I would NEVER spend a dime on them again. Ultimately, they took little accountability for their work and never once apologized. I was polite at every step and if anyone would like to see pictures, I’d gladly show the same pictures I I sent to them...

Flowers we all cut improperly, half of the petals were gone from most of the bloomed flowers. I ordered an extra large from 1-800 flowers and received a medium one sized arrangement. The teddy bear was soaking wet. The delivery people left voicemails demanding tips because they only worked on tips. Camera recorded them as they approached screaming oh my god oh my dog, when we open the door they repeat saying they only worked on tips that they’ve been to the wrong house 10 times like it’s our fault. Insanely bad quality of flowers, teddy bear and delivery team. Would not recommend. My apologies if it’s not the right location but there’s 4 around the area.

Edit ** After contacting customer service, they were extremely helpful, the issue was one of the contractor drivers they had for Valentine’s Day surge was doing bad deliveries not the florist themselves.
