This place has a kid's corner (or what appears to be a kids corner). It has a children's table and a tub full of children's books set up in the back of the shop. Several moms and I went with our kids to enjoy some coffee and popsicles. During our visit, we were confronted by an employee. He said, "I just need you to know you're being really loud back here". There were no kids running around the shop, they were contained in the back room that looks like it was designed for kids. Frankly, we were having a great time reading the kid's books and watching our kids enjoying themselves. One mom asked the employee, "What do you want us to do?" And he responded with, "We've had complaints - people like to study". I then asked, "Are you kicking us out?" He didn't really respond. He didn't provide any remedy that he wanted. He just came to "let us know" and then walked away. I shared my experience on social media and instead of responding to me directly, apologizing or providing an explanation, they blocked me completely. I guess the combined money of 6 moms and their kids (who have frequented enough to have punch cards) doesn't spend the same as one or two people complaining about children who laugh while eating popsicles. If you're looking for a family friendly environment, this is NOT a spot I would visit.
*UPDATE AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE: there was no furniture rearranging, there was no screaming. The owner also wasn’t there to hear how her employee spoke to us, which was unkind. As mentioned in my yelp review, I would have been happy to remove anything negative from my social media and add that there was a remedy, and I’ll add here that I would even return to the business if there was an apology, but as you see from her response, there was none. I appreciate her sticking up for her employees, but at the end of the day, he was very rude. Maybe next time, you can have your employees/managers actually speak to your customers instead of complain to them and walk away, then we wouldn’t have to share on social and the problem could be remedied immediately. Regardless, you’ve unfortunately lost several customers. And I stick by my review of it not being a family friendly establishment for they prefer the one person “studying” over the 6 moms, who are also paying customers. Not to mention a ton of the other customers being so kind and speaking to both us and our kids both on the way in and out of your shop, but I digress. I just hope you’re kinder...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This coffee shop has all the ingredients for a perfect recipe. First, the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting … with local artists highlighted. Their bathroom has a baby changing table, their back room has a child’s table and basket of books … they have a “free mug exchange” program … and a rewards program (free drinks!). Did I mention how clean the shop is?!?! Next, every single person who works there (inclusive of course of the owner) are always personable, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable - whether to assist a customer to figure out “that perfect drink match” or to tweak a drink or simply to help make the day happier … they are always on point. Every. Single. Person. Finally, they make many of their syrups homemade (yum!!!) … they make their own popsicles … they sell locally owned bakery items (inclusive of gluten free) … their options are incredibly delicious across the board. I first came here during COVID on the way home from the hospital having my first child. Now, more than 4 years later, I am a 5-6 day a week customer … their lattes and bagels are the best! Special shout out to Hannah who literally notices and asks when I have missed being there a day or more … and who always remembers and uses my name. But honestly, I adore every single barista there … they remember my favorite drink no matter the season … they care … they laugh and have fun … they create this amazing little shop. I have never gone anywhere else that comes close. Check them out and spend some money … tip well … they deserve it and you deserve what they...
Read moreLet me start by saying it's a really cute, comfy coffee and snack place that's in a great location near Cocoa Village and is family friendly. It's a winning combination for sure. I have heard the popcicles are great and selling works by local artists is such a nice touch for the community to get away from the corporate Starbucks mentality. BUT, the coffee was WAY over priced. I asked for a 12 oz tall and was charged 50 cents more than the board listed 2.40 for a tall sized (small) Americano. PLUS another .25 cents for cream, plus 18% (the lowest option offered) gratuity (was there an option NOT to leave a tip? I didn't see it. Plus Florida state sales tax? on food and beverage? Yeah I know they can, but it just adds to the sting, right?. $3.88 for a small coffee. I work in the village and had just forgotten to bring my coffee that day. Can anyone recommend another place to get good coffee between 5-7 p.m. without having to drive to Wawa?. Ossorios in the Village was closed. I'm glad RRC&P are doing so well after 3 years, but I probably...
