I just graduated from rockladge institute few months ago, I been looking for a good barber school around me I found 3 of them but to be honest this school the cheapest one and the best study skills they have, however most of them they have financial aide but there prices like over 13k while Rockledge institute don't have financial aide but there prices much much cheaper so at the end of the day with the financial aide you gonna pay at least 8k while you are paying less then that price without financial aide in here. I attended 1000 hours and I didn't miss any day and I got my license after 10 months I learned how to really cut hair and shave The manger (Mr.Mitchele) is a master in barbering industry and he knows too much I mean too much When I got my license and I started working I made 135$ the first day I wasn't sure if I wanna be a barber or not but after I decided I said to my self I have to be passion and it gonna take me at lest a year of practicing to get what I want. if you are looking to make a easy money and if you wanna invest your money in your self go check this school out, You...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a former student of Rockledge Institute and I would like to leave my honest review, there have been 3 major things I have learned from this journey:
āCommon sense isnāt that common.ā āNo one is in charge of your happiness, except you.ā ā The reason it is so hard for you to stay happy is because it is so easy for you to get offended. If you want to make it easier to stay happy. Make it harder to get offended.ā
This was an extremely hard concept for me to understand until now, the Rockledge Institute has given me the mentality and skills I need to pursue what I went there for and I am extremely grateful I was able to have this experience. Thank you for your patience and kindness you have shown me along the way. If you have made it to this point in the novel I have written, thank you, and I have one more thing to say. To all the doors that have closed to me, Iām coming back to buy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery rude instructor/ director. Seemingly had me doing hard labor very 1st day because he has no steady plethora of students. Although i hadnāt worn correct shoes for working on the floor. Although that isnāt correct protocol for students to jump into a headofhair 1st day. Seemingly doesnāt want to tip all workers, just whom he thinks āneedsā the currency. Seems to prey on the meek/weak~women as i was told he gives āhugsā to certain 1ās. Will have you practicing much more of an āurbanā ethnic trend than intended. Overall, had students criticizing my work & seems that when i let thee uneasiness be known, we then had issues. This is of one he gives the infamous āhugsā to as well. The director/ instructor also pulls the students in the office to talk about them...
