The truth of the matter my people there are food desert all over the lower income neighborhoods.Not cause grocery stores are not their.Because the selections are limited and over priced.I travel over a thousand miles around the D.C. Maryland Virginia area weekly looking for deal's from FOOD,equipment for my business,pleasure item's like bike's, exercise equipment you NAME it I'm on the prowl.And the common THREAD which has woven through the three state's I work play rest and run my business from is the Salt,suger,and pleasure consumption item's alcoholic beverages flow ramped.in the lower income area's.While fresh foods and item's of GREAT QUALITY are easily obtained in the well to do area's.Food Lion Rockville I'm a Club member thou I live in mixed income CAPITAL HIEGHTS MARYLAND.Cause the food disparagement is SO gross and blatiant .I eat icecream everynight when possible AFTER 24yr of incarceration the THING I crave the most proudly my guilty pleasure.Choice food's AROUND my way in Hyattsville is less than FOUR month's OLD.They moved into our nieborhood and SO disrespectful punched us in the wallet with high price's and no sales extravaganza for allowing us into YOUR mixed class beautiful up in coming trying to heal after ripping your bloved shoppers out your nieborhood none of that just here take these overly priced scraps and be happy we're here well I'm not and I PRAY the community isn't either.Just cause we all don't have vehicles to travel for FOOD.This is my delima for me and my community which keeps me up at NIGHT with thoughts of which of my niebors aren't going to bed hungry tonite,how can I rectify that.I welcome FOOD Lion Rockville in my community if they WOULD COME and give choice food's the BIG ol boot out my CAPITAL HIEGHTS Seatplesant Palmer Park living our best life...

I really loved shopping here but I think I'm going to have to go somewhere else because of my experience with the deli.

The reason I go to the deli counter is because I prefer to buy my meat shaved. I always order one pound of ham shaved.

4 out of the last 5 times I was there, I was given thicker slices of meat. These were all different staff members too. One woman complained to me that she was slicing too long and gave me .8 pounds of meat because her arm hurt. Another time I got 1.2....was a bit irritated having to pay extra for an amount I didn't need.

If I wanted standard slicing I'd just pick up some the pre-sliced... I have never had this kind of experience at the dozens of supermarket delis I've been to, I am not sure if it's just laziness because it's faster to cut the thicker cuts or an issue with the machine, but once a nice man of color did give me properly shaved meat so I think it's an issue with the...
