Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Rockville

Man, I don't know what happened to these guys but their food has decreased in quality dramatically. Sure, their prices are a little cheaper than ShakeShack, but back then they were comparable. Now? Incomparable. Their burgers are very salty and greasy, fries are salty and dry. Somehow they ruined sweet potato fries as well, they are almost tasteless now. I don't recommend these guys anymore. Goto ShakeShack if you have the money, or goto SmashBurger. You will be happier there.

(Original post, two years ago, 5 stars) Habit Burger's Charburgers are absolutely delicious, one my my definite favorites behind Shake Shack. Why I order here more than at ShakeShack is because it's quite cheaper. This is what makes me order here maybe twice a month? I don't know, it's delicious. It has a nice atmosphere, some nice music maybe from the 70s - 90s, but I always feel great dining here. They have many nice toppings such as mushrooms that you won't find at your local McDonalds. They have their own house made drinks too (the blueberry mint is my favorite!). They also have normal sodas if you are into that. They also have very tasty milkshakes. They have quite alot of options in both food and drink. Do I reccomend dining here?...

When I arrived for my carryout, I was not acknowledged. One employee saw me, turned around & went to the fryers. Another @ the register was on a personal call with her back to me. I stood there waiting for someone to provide service. A man stacking buns appeared to tell the employee @ the fryer to check on me. She heard him, looked @ me but ignored his request. After some time, the employee on the phone finally ended her call & addressed me. As for the food, burgers were dry, overcooked, & had no flavor, buns weren't toasted, lettuce and tomato were old & mushy. Fries & onion rings were super dry, overcooked, seemed to be sitting out for hours. I SO regret having ordered from this location. The service/food was horrible. Highly dissatisfied with the whole experience!

The first time I ordered from the Habit Burger Grill, it was a totally different experience! It was @ the North Frederick location. Their service/food was excellent! We'll be returning to THAT location...

Nice fast casual burgers and salads in South Rockville, part of a national chain of Habit Burgers Grills. Burgers are made to order using char-grilling over an open flame, moreso thin patties than thick ones. Lots of pre-formatted options or build your own! You can get single or double patty burgers, and a pretty wide mix of toppings. Good pricing for the area as well (single patty is in the $4 or less range, double patty burgers top out at about $6). Good taste to what I've tried so far, I appreciate the char-grill / open flame taste. Combos are an option (only tried the Onion Rings which I enjoyed). Salads are an option as well, nicer mix than what you see at fastfood restaurants. Friendly staff in the few times I've been here.
