This is an excellent facility for seniors to engage in all sorts of activities, exercise, conversation, and relaxation. It has a very nice work out area, a well equipped library, multi-purpose rooms for meetings, activities, dance and aerobic classes, pottery, and more. It is clean and well run and inexpensive to join. My only concern is with some who use the work out area. I have been working out in gyms, YMCAs, health clubs, and on my own for many years. There is a proper etiquette when exercising around other people. Many of those who attend do not seem to be aware of that process which includes keeping loud talk to a minimum and focusing on exercise rather than socializing. Many who come in the work out area talk very loudly and for extended periods of time, even while on a machine. They can't be exercising very seriously to do that. I come to work out, not listen to loud talk. I understand that many of those who attend are not used to exercise places and do not know what I am saying. I ask those who read this to think that some who attend are there to exercise without the unnecessary noise of loud talk. There are plenty of areas outside of the work out place to have a nice conversation. I do not mean to be negative. Other than this issue, this is a great place...
Read moreI have been a member of the Adult Wellness Center since May 2022. I had a bad experience at the Wellness Center last week. I noticed my gas cap lid had been removed when I was walking to my car. My lid was shut when I arrived at the center. Someone tampered with my car. I called the police to report the incident. The Adult Wellness Center needs security cameras installed to view every vehicle in the parking lot. They have security cameras to view only the vehicles close to the front of the building. The police also need to patrol the Adult Wellness Center. A male in the lounge harassed and insulted me when I was in the lounge in June. That is very bad for people to come to the wellness center and talk like that to other members. That male was just saying lies. I seriously wonder if everybody that comes to the Wellness Center are members. The Adult Wellness Center needs...
Read moreUpdate: I contacted again per request and still not allowed. If you are disabled, you can apparently only have a senior citizen caregiver. My husband 's doctor has encountered him to go here for years, and we are always told no. It's not like I would have a grand ball taking off work and helping him not get lost in this place. Seriously.
Discriminates against dementia parents who need a caregiver's help. Every time I have asked if I can help my husband do things here, I am told I am not old enough. It's honestly disgusting to me. Dementia patients and disabled persons should be given the same rights as...
