UPDATE**

As of today 3/27/2019 my review stands at 1star. However, the owner john and staff are great at communicating and trying to make things right, the food is still low quality. Again, my super nachos that were replaced werent good. I can appreciate the fact that the ingredients are seperated to preserve the crispiness of the chips, there are still LESS ingredients for the nachos, than what comes in a standard taco. I did order other items to see how they were, and was still dissappointed. I ordered two super tacos and they came with more cheese than meat and sour cream. I as well ordered the super burritto and was even more dissappointed because im not a bean guy and it came with litterrally a pound of beans, a couple crumbs of meat and ALL, and i mean ALL of the other ingredients like olives, tomatoes, cheese etc.. were at the bottom of the burritto in a pile. No even distribution of ingredients through out the burritto. Im sorry, i appreciate the gesture to try and make it right, but it wasnt successful. Although it may not matter or hurt anyones business that i wont eat here again, i stand by my review.

I dont need to say much. Restraunt hasnt been here that long and only has 1 star ratings. Needless to say, this establishment wont be here long at all. Food is way over priced. I had their nachos and chili burger. Nachos tasted like low quality gas station nachos. All they did was take chips and put em in a carton, and give you another carton with sour cream, meat, tomatos, and beans, very small amount, enough to fit in a single taco. The chili burger was disgusting. I would highly recommend people to go elsewhere for food, you will be dissappointed. And if you choose to disreguard this warning, please get on here and leave a 1 star review to warn others to listen to this review...

Let me start by saying Taco Casa is my favorite fast food, period. It started in my home town and I have eaten there most of my life. I live up north now and we do not have any Taco Casa locations within several hours of our home. So, anytime I am in a location that has a Taco Casa, that is usually my first stop. I have eaten at this location a couple of times over the last couple of years as I visit the area. The food has always been great along with the service until or most recent visit. We stopped there on Tuesday evening at 730 pm. We sat in a line 6 cars deep from the ordering screen. We waited in line for 20 minutes and only 2 cars actually made it to the screen before we left. We saw 2 other cars leave while we waited. I could also see inside the building and multiple people were standing with drinks but waiting for their food. So, we visited today at 4pm. There weren't many cars in line the service was extremely slow again. We waited this time only to receive food that was thrown together and tea that wasn't sweet. You couldn't pick up a burrito without the filling falling out of both ends. Needless to say, my family was disappointed in this Taco Casa location. With the amount of business we saw leave, one could hire better/more help to provide the community with good food and...

GREAT FIRST EXPERIENCE /sarcasm

Got 2 of today's special (buy 2, get 1). Guy only rang up 1 special. I questioned while waiting why the first 3 taco weren't the same as the second 3. He kept telling me it was right. He even tells me each taco is $2.07 after tax. I do the math instantly that 2.07 times 4 is $8.28. He again tells me it's right and hands me cinnamon chips for the hastle. I'm allergic to wheat so the instantly had to come out of the bag.

I pull off to the side and call. The girl looks up the ticket and agrees it's wrong, and tells me to come back in.

I get inside, and wait my turn. While waiting, the manager is asking the drive thru guy if the price comes up the same, and he says it does.

I hand the girl at the counter my reciepit. I watch her ring up 6 tacos then enter 2 specials, totalling $8.28...

Nice girl at counter goes back to talk to the manager, and instead the Manager just yells at her that the ticket is right and she can't do anything about it... Doesn't even look at her. Just yells.

I just wanted my $2 back. Manger chose not to deal with it, and comped the whole thing.

I know this is petty; it's just $2...

BUT if they really think they did it right, how many more people are getting...

Even though they don't serve chicken, it wasn't as bad as I thought from passing by several times prior to stopping today. It's somewhat similar to Taco Bueno without all the other added benefits of a larger menu. It was fairly busy in the drive-thru compared to dine in. Either I was hungrier than I thought or it actually has good flavor or both as it satisfied my appetite for the moment. They have daily specials (which I forgot to photograph) and Thursday is a pretty good value of 2 for $4 Super Taco. As far as I can tell, I feel that it needs chicken along with onions or the option of adding to an entree or on the side. Whatever they're doing, it's been working for them nearly 40 years but not my cup of tea due to lack of chicken plus a few more options compared to local or other restaurants similar to here. If I'm hungry enough, I might return but not likely.

Welcome Back Taco Casa! No gimmicks here just great fast food tacos and burritos essentially unchanged since 1972. The quality and portions are far better than the other chain Mexican places not to mention far superior service. Things have improved so far. Food comes out faster and hotter than before, I hope this continues after the “new” wears off. The only thing missing are the daily specials, but I imagine those will return when the crowds thin out. (They are missing an opportunity to insure return visits by not having them in place now) Keep up the good work Taco Casa, I hope you’re able to stick around for good this time!
