As with all business, there are good and bad employees that come & go. I’ve been vaping for about a year & ive been to a few places, most seem more laid back than here only because every time I’ve went in, they were super eager to help (even when I just wanted to look & soak up my mod options). I don’t like to be pestered after I turn someone down but I was asked like 5x in 5 min if I needed help or had suggestive sells & it was enough to make me leave but that’s just me, some might like that. I was recommended to go back by a good friend. There have been super knowledgeable employees who make recommendations, and there have been employees that can’t figure out where they are or how to work a register.
My biggest complaint going in was that I found coils 1/3 their price on vaporworld website. I asked 3 different employees on 3 different occasions why the website wouldn’t ship to me & why their price was different. Most of the time, no one knew the answer. Vapor world in bentonville explained that the site & most stores are separate. They don’t exchange data so one store (bentonville or Little Rock) for example, even though they share names, are not the same company nor will points transfer. I had 500+ points I could only use at one store and after a year, this is still what I have discovered to be fact, no one seems to know. They explained that their globe in the name is different. Seems shady to me.
I do have to say that recent changes force them to ask for ID. It’s annoying cause if you’re just interested in information like if they have a certain juice or coils in a certain mg or Ohm, they have to ask for ID, way worse than a tobacco shop would be but I’m sure they have good reason to be that way. I’d rather be told when I walk in “welcome to vapor world, please have your ID ready” than to be in mid conversation and it be demanded before conversation continues.
Personally, It just kind of feels like a new start-up where people don’t know much about anything but what they’ve learned. I go there only because it’s convenient for me, a good selection of products, good prices & the point system is nice but sometimes I can’t because parking is limited & folks will park & hang out inside.
They do care about you, they do try to help, the store has improved, their technology has improved, I can’t say anything bad but it would be nice to see...
Read more40 years old and have never felt the need to leave a review anywhere until now. And hour and a half ago I went to the Rogers vapor world to buy a new mod tank and batteries for my wife. The guy that worked there despite doing the best he could was obviously new and horribly under trained and was left to work the store alone. He sold us the mod kit and batteries and we left. After arriving at home les than ten minutes later I opened one battery box to start charging them and noticed that we were giving the wrong size batteries for the mod we bought and already have. No biggie we drove back to the store. The same man that sold us the batteries called his manager to ask how to handle the exchange for the correct batteries and here is where the issue comes in!! On speaker phone so everyone could hear she said sorry we don’t take batteries back, he explained to here that he just sold them to us and that he gave us the wrong ones and we weren’t trying to get our money back just exchange for the correct ones that were a couple dollars a piece cheaper than what we were sold. At this point the manager told this new undertrained and alone worker that he would have to pay for the correct batteries himself because they don’t take batteries back!!! Unbelievable! All that needed to happen was take the batteries I paid for back and replace them with the correct ones! I didn’t even care about the price difference just needed batteries that fit what mod I bought but no! This worthless manager had the gall to tell this guy who’s not been set up to do his job correctly that HE HAS TO PAY $50 OF HIS MONEY TO COVER THE BATTERIES AND THE MISTAKE! Absolutely ridiculous!! I wasn’t going to make him have to pay that money so I paid for the original batteries $55 and they got them back and paid $53 for the correct batteries that I got. First worst manager I’ve dealt with anywhere. Your employees are a representation of you as a manager. Second as far as business practices if this is how you do your customers regularly than shame on you! I’ve been a customer from the start but today will be the last time I set foot in any of your stores. That young man that works there should cut his...
Read moreBought a vape there about two months ago. They said it was leak proof. After a week of owning it it started leaking. So I took it back before there two week policy ended. They said there was a crack in the screen. I had thought it was a bubble the whole time of owning it. A bubble that had been there since the day I bought it. I left it with them to see what they could do about it. It’s been two months and they won’t even call us back!! We have called up there multiple times and left messages for them to call us. They have my vape which I had paid for. They don’t seem to want to help there customers. Lie about a leak prove. They had told me if it ever started to leak to bring it back and they would replace it! So I did! Very disappointed in there service. Unless they make it right for me I don’t recommend going there! There are plenty of...
