Harbor Freight Tools — Local services in Rogers

Not as customer freindly as their sister store in springdale 16 miles away on Sunday. This is twice I have experienced low customer service at this location. I went to ask for a product to be brought up (large item) while i shopped some in aisles close by this Sunday. 30 min later I looked for the item up front and it was not there. They informed me then when I asked it was out and MIGHT be on a truck the following Sunday. 1) They did not offer to check a local store 2) Did not try to find me first but waited till I came up front to tell me. I then called the Springdale store and was told they had 3 of my item and would happilly hold it for me while I drove down. Night and day difference in customer service in Springdale..nice..freindly..helpful. Loaded into my truck! Versus indifferent and unhelpful in Rogers. Worth the drive? YES. The Springdale store is cleaner better stocked and a whole lot more freindly and service oriented. The Rogers location needs to learn that customers get treated poorly once and probably Never come back and...

Their store is clean. Restrooms are clean. Selection is good for what they have online. Some of the high dollar items like their largest tool box sometimes take a couple days to come into the store. Staff has always been friendly to me. I am always friendly and courteous to them too though, which may be why others have had a different experience. The tools that they sell are what they are...bottom dollar tools that don’t break the bank for infrequent use that get the job done. Sometimes you just don’t need top end equipment to do a single task at home without paying for a pro and this is where Harbor Freight shines. I do not like having to constantly look for coupons to get their prices down, which is why I rated for 4 stars. I would rather their stuff just be priced at the ever present coupon prices or 20% off prices and not have the hassle of coupons. We have been customers here for years. But we have never had the displeasure of dealing with the manager Brian. Worst most unhelpful attitude ever.

Instead of taking responsibility for his stores actions for a mess up, he basically blamed us, said tough luck and go figure it out. He did not try to make it right at all. Nor was he at all apologetic or helpful in anyway.

We rearranged our whole day to secure a truck, a couple of friends, went to another store an hour away to grab the other part of it, only to show up and get told that one of his employees messed up and were not supposed to sell us something and we would have to wait a month. So therefore all the work and preparation we had done was a waste.

We called the customer service line and made sure to put in a complaint about him and how he dealt with the situation. We will not be returning to that store unless that manager...
