The Event Centers MD — Local services in Rosedale

Called this afternoon to find out about pricing, as the website is unsecured and is not linked correctly. I was told each event is charged differently which is weird because I should only be paying for the space depending on which size I chose and the timeframe. I’ve never heard of a space charging depending on the event. Seems a little money hungry and gives broke vibes. When I tried to clarify the reason it mattered, I was given bs excuses which DID not apply to me or my event. During the discussion I eventually moved forward to tell the date and receive a price, the woman on the phone hung up and proceeded not to answer my call back, but unlike her I am not broke. I called from my other number just to let her know I will be contacting the manager. After reading the reviews, like the actual ones not ones recruited by family members, this is not a place I would want to book anyway.

Horrible place of business! We paid a deposit for a date and time that was double booked due to a lack of communication on their part. The other people booked after us but since they paid in full they got the venue. They told us to pick a new date and the guest of honor had a prior engagement that day and the people coming from out of town couldn't change their trips on time and they didn't even have the decency to return the deposit! After leaving three messages on the voicemail I finally got a call back. Once I got that phone call back, I was told the first date I wanted was not available but the second date was and I would need to come that Thursday between 11am - 4pm. I explained I would be at work between that time and the lady told me to call back Thursday and talk with someone to see if they didn't mind waiting and I did just that and got no answer all day long....
