So excited to invite my friends who were visiting from Kentucky and North Carolina ready to show off Maryland Seafood. Upon arrival it took the hostess almost 10 minutes to acknowledge that we were standing there. When she did speak to us, she said it would be a 30 minute wait. No hello, welcome, nothing and clearly not in a good mood. There were 5 people waiting in the lobby of which 3 were ordering carry out, a couple, me and my w guest. I spotted a waitress and asked where the restroom was and noticed on the way, 3 tables open on that side and 2 more near the bar.
Fast forward, once we were seated, our waitress brought our drinks and returned approximately 10 to 15 minutes later to take our order. 1 bowl of gumbo (as ordered) was brought out and we waited another hour (no exaggeration) for the rest of our food! The presentation was unique however, the snow crab legs, corn and potatoes were seriously overcooked .! We never received utensils nor a mallet or anything to crack the crabs not even a fork (we finally got plastic forks) I asked for the manager and when she came and I began to tell her what was happening, she interrupted and said “I told you it was going to be a 30 minute wait. I had to stop her and let her know that I asked for her to come and hear what the problems were with hopes that she would fix it. I had asked for the utensils to crack the crabs and she came out (still with attitude) with one for a table of 3 and I had to ask her for 2 more. As mentioned above the snow crab legs were so overcooked until they could not be cracked and I’m sure I should not have been able to bend them like rubber. Not to mention, other patrons were obnoxiously loud and no one ever said anything to them. The conversation with the manager ended with a request to offer a comp for poor quality (overcooked food) we were served. She said I can take 10% off your ($97.00) bill but she only took it off one meal.
Words can hardly express how embarrassing my recommendation was in front of my guests. I’m sure other patrons may have enjoyed themselves in the past but please know that we will never visit this restaurant again and will make others in our community aware! Thanks but no thanks if this is the way your customers...
Read moreAfter arriving and was seated right away. The table were so close together, there was no room to sit back to back near the other table. I had to sit with my chair at a angle. Definitely did not think the night would go so far left, after the order was placed. After just about 30 minutes went by the first part of the order was brought to the table. Well what was thought to be the first half. After looking at the bag, one part of the boil was missing. The server went to another table, took the drink orders then went to the table behind me and took their order. She did not stop by and ask if everything was ok or just checking in. The table behind us had just placed their order but received it, but yet one out of two orders that was placed from the table I was sitting had still not arrived. It seem as it was not the ordered they placed. After confirming from them, it was the order I placed. The server returned back to their table, still not checking on the table I was at, she was informed by them it was my order and she placed the order in front of me. At this point a new order should have been placed. I informed the MIT and he sent the GM. She came over to confirm the order and I stated to her, it is not what was ordered but the service that was given. The MIT did apologize and took care of us. To be in training, he did a wonderful job....
Read moreThe food was wonderful but they are missing some items at the table , I ordered some fries and chicken tenders but they offered no ketchup or salt&pepper. Also i think they should spice it up a little by adding some lemons to the menu! I loved the Cajun sauce I had medium which was a little spicy (my choice) it had more seasoning than sauce tho idk maybe I’m the only one who likes juicy seafood but anyways, The butter was a little dull it had no taste and it was clear which was a little weird because it seemed like cooking oil,But I loved the bib and the gloves that come with the meal and the little bucket at the table! The lemonade was a little bitter but it was refreshing. The waitress was working hard and full of joy I even tipped her $5 ! She was doing her job wonderfully her name was Jamara very beautiful young lady. The birthday song was wonderful too! every waitress was full of joy and cheering. The wait for the food could be a little long because so many people are visiting. The bar wasn’t full either just 1 or 2 people so I’ll give this place a recommendation for a date night or a...
