Eagle Supermarket — Local services in Roselle

I went into this store with my two sons on 4/22/21. It was a little after 6pm. Me and my youngest son was on the way into the store when my oldest son who just got off the bus from work in NY which the bus stops in front of the store. We all went in the store and headed straight to the back to buy some lunch meat. I go to get some bread and when I turn around the Manager name Maria (I got her name from the other cashier because she could not understand what I was saying) pulled my son to the front of the store to have the other cashier translate for her because she could not speak English. Maria stated that my son could not be in the Store with a book bag (the one you wear on your back). My son graciously left the store. There are no signs on the front door that states that you can not be in the store with a book bag nor do they have a bag check. The only signs posted is that you must have a mask on and we all had our mask on. I asked the cashier that spoke english why he could not be in the store with his book bag. She reluctantly said its store policy. All though that is stated no where in the store. I am fairly new to the neighborhood and have shopped there on many occasions because I am right down the street. I am very disappointed in the lack of judgement from Maria, the manager. African American peoples are not a tribe of undesirable blacks or monkey as their cashiers express, racism and discrimination in this country is a very controversial subject that cost a lot of blood and a lot of time to heal those wounds, additional in its location in Saint George ave his clients are predominantly black, it seems to me that it is double standards to discriminate against the people who give you food and that with their purchases they pay the wages of the stupid Cubans who have in the cashier, misplaced and with a bad customer service, It seems to me that if your clients come to know how you think and how they express themselves they would think twice about buying back like I am doing at the moment, and to make it clear I am another Cuban White Skin, so you will not be wrong In thinking that I do this to have something against Cubans, the African-Americans are respected like human beings equal to all that we are. I demand an apology from you or I will make myself aware of your Linden and Roselle neighbors as you think African Americans

Señores de eagle supermarket los afroamericanos no son una tribu de monos o negros indeseables como expresan sus cajeras, el racismo y la discriminación en este pais es un tema muy polemico que costo mucha sangre y mucho tiempo para curar esas heridas, adicional en su ubicación en saint George ave sus clientes son predominantemente negros, me parece que es doble moral discriminar a la gente que te da comer y que con sus compras pagan el Salario de las Cubanas estupidas que tienen en las cajas, desubicadas y con un pesimo servicio al cliente, me parece que si sus clientes llegan a saber como piensan ustedes y como se expresan pensarían 2 veces en volver a comprar como yo lo estoy estoy haciendo en este momento, y para que quede claro soy otro Cubano de Piel Blanca, para que no se equivoquen en pensar que esto lo hago por tener algo en contra de cubanos, los afroamericanos se respetan como seres humanos igual a todos que somos. This store sells expired food as well as many items in the produce section that have mold growth. I have given the manager the items on several occasions and yet they put it back on shelves. This is also a store of no diversity they do not hire African Americans nor accept their applications,however they do hire Spanish job seekers who speak no English in a community that is clearly mixed.
