I usually go here a few times a year to hit, and Iāve been here about 6 times this year. Today, I got there about 6:10pm, and I was told last call was 6pm and they were closing at 7pm. I said no problem and went to leave. The man at the counter (the owner) said I could get a medium bucket, cool with me, I gave him the $10. 45 minutes to hit a medium, no worries. About 8 others on the range at the time. At 6:35pm, a young man came up to me and said āJust so you know, weāre closing in 5 minutesā. I told him the older gentleman said they were closing at 7pm. The kid said āYeah, itās the holiday and all.ā What really happened is the others all finished their buckets and I was the last one. I said that if I was told up front that they were closing early, I would have left like I tried to do before the older gentleman told me I could get the medium. I packed up my stuff and left about a third of a bucket there. I hope that 20 minutes of āholiday timeā was worth it, because that was the last $10 Iāll ever spend here! See you at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe miniature golf place was a big surprise. We weren't expecting much based on the location and condition of the parking lot and surrounding streets and businesses but we're impressed with the 36 holes, low prices, clever placement of kookie animal sculptures and challenging original layout. There are two 18 hole courses and you pick one for your admission. The turf needed cleaning and some landscaping was over due but it was still fun. Why does no one keep score and everyone cheat in mini golf? It would have been more fun if we didn't have to hurry due to the groups behind us that we're basically pushing the balls into the holes if they didn't make the shot on the first try. What is the point? Pay the money to cheat yourself? Duh. Pencils, score sheets, and clearly posted rules would really help. Men, if going to Hooters next door first, please check your manners before coming to the...

Stopped again, pretty busy, asked for a "jumbo" bucket, the kid behind the counter hands me a large, thinking he may not have heard me, I said "oh I'm sorry I meant jumbo", his response "today, that's a jumbo". It was nowhere near closing time. Third times a charm. Pulled in and while unloading clubs a woman comes out and asks me if I'm there to hit balls. "Yes", she responds "well we're slow right now now so we're only selling small buckets", I said "well I guess I'll take a small", she actually seemed disappointed that I was there for business, mind you a couple had arrived the same time. She locked the door after we walked in and proceeded to turn away three other customers an hour and a half before posted closing time. Never have I felt so unwelcome trying to give someone some business, a business in which they...
