The food was bad, but the way the manager, Sidra Al Qaysi, treated me was worse. She was condescending and dismissive and acted like my concerns didn’t matter at all.
I came in close to closing on a weekday but still expected a decent meal. They weren’t out of anything, but the pans had already been stacked across the counters. (I wonder if corporate is okay with this 🤔) When I got home, I realized I’d been served crunchy rice, dry chicken, and stale, under-fried chips. Crazy how they got that much wrong, but I figured I give them a chance to make it right.
The next day, I called the restaurant to explain what happened and spoke directly with Sidra. Her immediate response was, “I’m sorry but you won’t get the outcome you want. We can’t replace your food.” She didn’t ask for details or try to make it right. Just went on a tangent about people trying to scam her store with hacks from TikTok 😒.
After the call, I returned to the restaurant and spoke with another manager. I showed my receipt and explained the situation again, and they referred me back to Sidra.
When she finally came over, she reluctantly refunded the chips I had just repurchased — but only after making me wait over 10 minutes while she chatted with employees about non-urgent matters. By then, the line had cleared, and only one other customer was in the store, already being helped. Sidra appeared to be training a cook, but it clearly wasn’t urgent. She could’ve easily paused for a minute to process the refund, just like she paused when I first approached her. It felt intentional — like she wanted to make things harder for me.
Before I left, Sidra told me I “came in very late” and should expect the food not to be as fresh. I explained that I understood the timing but still expected properly prepared food, especially considering the price I paid. There were too many issues to ignore. She shrugged, smiled, and even laughed about me spending $20 on food I couldn’t eat.
In the end, I paid for a replacement meal (minus the refunded chips), which I shouldn’t have had to do.
Sidra’s attitude and lack of professionalism were uncalled for — especially from someone in a leadership role. Chipotle should seriously reevaluate its management standards. If this is the norm, it reflects poorly on the...
Read moreMy wife an I go here often an typically don't ever have issue with food or staff but for some reason the manager Paul is always an issue whenever we have the displeasure of him ringing us up. Hes rude and far too loud. Very first thing we had noticed was him yelling at a female employee over how they written extra on a lid. Instead of asking them nicely what it was for he barked at them and made them look stupid. Meanwhile as the nice woman was getting our food he was busy on the phone talking to another customer speaking on how he'd forgotten to add something to someone's bag while continuing to be super loud. As a manager myself I am truthfully disappointed in how he behaved. I did talk to the nice woman and let her know she was great at what she was doing because she truly is good at her job and being sure customers are helped and getting what we had asked for. He then continued to bark as he spoke when cashing us out which I can understand why you need to be well heard in a kitchen since its important to communicate with staff but don't holler at your guests. Its unprofessional as well as rude. My wife had also asked to buy chips when he was busy ringing us up. He moved so haphazardly and clearly wasn't paying attention we didn't receive our chips and he didn't even bother to ring it in. He was too busy with other things it seems. Paul its sad to see how you are with your people and I belive the nice woman would make a better manager than you. Its not that hard to speak to people with respect and actually listen to others. I would suggest him go back to training or maybe see what its like to work...
Read moreI dont leave reviews but this needed to be said. I went to this location to have lunch w my daughter. Upon arrival there was a long line but not a problem I understand. Even though it seemed like there were staff members sitting around. When it was finally our turn, I asked to have a steak quesadilla and was told that I can only have that if I order it online. Me not understanding why and what the difference of being in store vs being online is. She was rude about it when answering. I told my daughter she could order but that I didn't want anything. I left the establishment wout ordering anything and went to Qdoba. Pulling in I was followed by another customer that had also been behind me at Chipotle and was upset how I was treated. I was then told that after I walked out the staff loudly called me a karen! I am by far a karen, I didn't make a scene, I wasn't rude, I just didn't order anything since what I wanted had to be ordered online! This place lost two customers today because of its inappropriate comments and unprofessionalism. Qdoba's energy and customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Don't waste your time w Chipotle unless u want the worse experience...
