Good? great? excellent? nope; I would say exceptional customer service! [6 star rating] from all employees and management!
I buy a recurring order of two dozen sesame seed bagels and somehow my order was missed. The staff went to his manager who went to the main Manager Sarah Ghormley, I watched this unfold i knew I would be coming home empty handed, waiting at the bakery saw the whole staff do s quick huddle by the register, they worked as a team to identify what the problem was, how it happened, and how to prevent it, how to implement the solution. Everyone chipped in the baker came by and wrote my name and number down with the exact weekly order to assist in (communication sector) the bakery manager worked out an agreement on when I would pick up and added some additional preventative measurements to prevent waste, (proactive compromise sector), and the team lead Sarah confirmed with the customer(me) what the exact problem was and provided customer service credit that was more than reasonable at the same time branding Raley’s investment into their customers. (Reconfirm the problem, restore the trust, rebrand the company)

Read moreRaleys one is a nice neat store with healthy choices, however when the consumers in that community go shopping there we are knowingly spending a lot more for goods than we would at another supermarket, Costco, Sam’s etc… I went in on a beautiful Saturday morning to pick up dog food and a few other items, walked out with a receipt that showed I paid 150.00 for my 6 items. It’s all good it’s my choice to spend my money where I want, however I walked by a SUPERVISOR / MANAGER , several TEAM MEMBERS, they see you walk in, and see you shopping, and not ONE of them were smiling! Not one said good morning! Not one said are you finding everything ok! I actually smiled at the SUPERVISOR because I admired how he took the time to slick black his hair before work, not one hair was out of place! He looked at me and proceeded on with his morning! Never acknowledged me, the only PERSON that said two word was the lady checking me out because she had to. None of them look like they want to be there. So needless to say I will not spend not one more of my hard working pennies there! Customer service is everything right now people are struggling and working hard for what they have! A smile...
Read moreI had such a wonderful experience at Raley’s that I wanted to take a moment to give them a well-deserved shoutout. I stopped in to pick up a few things to welcome my buddy back from Southern California just in time for the Fourth of July, and Raley’s really came through.
First, I found the most beautiful arrangement of red, white, and blue flowers—perfectly festive for the holiday. The bouquet looked like something from a boutique florist, full of fresh blooms that were clearly arranged with care and creativity. I also grabbed a “Welcome Back” balloon to make the surprise feel extra special.
What made the visit even better was the staff. Every employee I interacted with was kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. One team member even helped me make sure the flowers and balloon were secured for the car ride home. It’s the little things like that that really leave an impression and make shopping feel like a personal experience rather than just another errand.
Thanks to Raley’s, I was able to pull off a thoughtful welcome that really meant a lot to my friend. Whether you’re planning something special or just need your weekly groceries, I can honestly say this store goes...
