I had a terrible experience at the East Cobb Jos. A. Bank. This location lacks baseline service and I was treated as if I did not exist. I would avoid this location and instead, head for the Jos. A. Bank in Alpharetta.
When I entered the store, none of the three to four attendants responded to my greeting and blankly stared. When I asked the attendant behind the counter to have my suits tailored, he would not respond. I asked a second time. No response. I then asked if he heard and understood what I had said and I received a "yes" with another blank stare. I asked if he was actually going to help me, the attendant slowly moved in silence to check my suits. I'm not sure if there was a gas leak in this store, but the lack of service was astonishing.
Perhaps this location has a preferred clientele and treats all others terribly to discourage them from returning (based on all the negative Yelp reviews). Perhaps those who work at the East Cobb Jos. A. Bank simply lack basic human decency. Perhaps there really was a gas leak for which I hope everyone there is okay. I think I will go with 'gas leak'.
I swiftly left this location... and went to the Jos. A. Bank in Alpharetta where I was treated well and had my suits tailored. I would avoid the East...
Read moreMy fiance and I came in to buy a suit/outfit for our wedding as we already own 6 Jos. A Banks suits from a location in Florida. The salesman just stared at us when we walked in so I said we needed help. I told him what we were looking for. He pointed us to a rack. Then we asked for recommendations on slacks to match the vest and after disappearing he came back to show us another rack and again walked away. We found the dressing room alone. He disregarded my request for a dress shirt. Another sales person came back to check on his customer and while I was standing next to him, I asked him a question about the color of the slacks. He was polite and said he would get our sales person. He walked back on to the floor, told our sales person Reggie that I needed some help with slacks and I witnessed Reggie say ok and continue to slowly roam around the floor. He didn't make any effort to speak to us again or help with anything. I have never encountered such pathetic customer service at a professional men's store. We left without buying anything and will never buy from this store. I was downright offended by his attitude and I am still in disbelief that this was our...
Read moreI'm currently away for military service and my friend used this particular Jos A. Banks for the groomsmen. I'm unable to visit before the actual wedding so my wife took my measurements and traveled to pick up the suit since there's no location near us.
My wife called a seperate location and confirmed it shouldnt be an issue to bring my measurements and pick up the suit ahead of time. Of course knowing I'll take the suit for alterations somewhere else. The register boy was incredibly rude to my wife and was adamant the only way I could receive the suit is if I showed up personally. When my wife attempted to make anymore inquiries, considering we knew exactly what size I needed, the cashier ignored my wife and refused to help in any way.
I've been a groomsman in two other weddings where this company was used and had no issues. However this location displayed complete unprofessionalism.
For any readers considering this as an option for weddings, I strongly suggest using another location or company, especially if any part of the party is...
