I rarely post reviews and never negative ones . Aside from the very odd shape looking pizza below pic, more complaints I looked online at a 12 inch build your own pizza 12 inch stated 11 dollars To add one full pepperoni 2 dollars to add a half of mushrooms 1 dollar. I was not charged 14 dollars but 18 I had no clue since my husband picked up the pizza The phone rang busy for hours. So we went and I went inside to order. At that time, the man said not accepting build ypur own pizza , but then said since only 2 ingredients he said will allow for price of build your own, but charged 4 dollars more I also ordered. A side salad I was asked about dressing I said ranch on side. 3 tiny salad leaves and 2 thin tomato slices all totally drenched in kind of vinegar smelled awful so soggy look awful. I can not eat vinegar I ask for ranch on side, besides salad enough for 3 bites only I had to throw salad out. Even my husband not want it . I never put bad reviews but this meal overcharged for, skimpy awful wrong salad over 24 dollars and oddest looking shape pizza ever saw. Had to throw out salad . Was afraid to eat this odd looking pizza I text friends and they said how odd looking l Would have just called the manager , but for hours and still now the phone always rings busy like early afternoon , when tried to call to place order. Are they keeping their phone off the hook. So bad enough to get a bad meal , but try to call and no one to talk to. Despite, the very odd shape and look of this pizza, my husband ate it Said ok. I never saw restaurant pizza shaped...
Read moreWe were at the Avenues of East Cobb to try out a new place, when we saw the Peach State Pizza place in the same area. Since we were headed home to go to the pool, we decided to do a to-go order.
We had a seat at the bar and had a drink while waiting for our pizza to be cooked. The restaurant has a very new and clean feel. This lead me to ask how long they had been open….and I was told since January. Really, a pizza place that has been open for 6 months, and it doesn’t smell like pizza yet?
We ordered a small pizza with onions, jalapenos, sausage and pepperoni from the bar. Unfortunately, the pepperoni was left off, and we didn’t see it until we got home. We checked when we got it – from the picture, my husband thought maybe the pepperoni was ground up/in small chunks – so he just shrugged it off. Which was fine, since we added our own pepperoni when we got home, and re-cooked the pizza in our own oven. The pie was a tad undercooked as we got it, so the refire crisped it up better. We also had to cut (or recut) the pizza – since it didn’t seem to be done in their kitchen.
As you can see from our pictures, the toppings are pretty sparse and concentrated in the center of the pie.
I’m not sure what this place wants to be, an upscale pizza dining place or a neighborhood hangout. Maybe when they figure it out, I’ll spend the $$ to try it again.

Read moreI was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but ended up being really disappointed by the overall experience. Our server didn’t seem to pay attention to anything… even though she repeated back our order to us before placing it. I asked that my sandwich didn’t come with a tomato; it came with one. I asked for unsweetened tea, but got sweet. At one point, my and my husband’s sandwiches were dropped off at the table and the server said to us, “we’re just putting the pizza in now. Should be a few more minutes.” Why was it not put in with the rest of our order? Our children had to essentially watch us eat and when their cheese pizza finally did come to the table it was scalding hot. Our server attempted to clear our “extra” plates and silverware while we waited for the pizza and my husband had to yell across the restaurant to get her attention and ask her to stop. It was complete insanity and the service just continued to go down hill.
I will say that everything we ate was delicious. My only complaint about the food was the portion of the chicken salad sandwich. The price either needs to come down or the amount of chicken salad needs to go up, but either way - my sandwich should not have cost $10.
I understand it’s a new place and working out the kinks takes some time, but we truly didn’t have anything go as requested for the entire time...
