Have been to this Michaels several times. My fiancee and daughter are super artsy, and I love Christmas decorations!
Michaels has great deals on certain items throughout the year. I highly recommend shopping by what is on sale. Spent a fortune on a fricut and accessories and it has just sat in the closet.
Meanwhile, I buy a dozen yarn balls and my daughter has since crocheted two sweaters, a heavy blanket, scarves, etc. They also have a little book section at the front right of the store with some excellent "how to" guides for specific crafts.
Other than crafts, Michaels has great deals on photo frames. I recommend their in store or on-line custom framing. Very high quality for the price. *They were doing 70 percent off around the Holidays.
This Michaels store located in the East Cobb Avenue has always been well stocked which I think is the #1 factor when rating these stores. Michaels does have online only deals, such as bulk purchases on yarn, but you can find almost everything on the site...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEverything seemed a little scattered / shelves unorganized. However they were putting Christmas items out so Iām sure that was a huge part of it. This location is a little smile to other Michael Iāve been to. The staff was very helpful and when I asked where something they were prompt on helping. The cashier was big on using the self check out, versus waiting in line for her, which believe it or not made everything faster. I have not been inside a Michaelās in a long, long time. I forgot how large the craft selections/ items there are inside just one store. There was also a pretty large selection of discounted items. Parking was a little tough because it was at the Avenue and thereās many stores, but the outside and inside of the facility were both very well kept and clean .I would recommend if you know what you want. If what you want it pretty basic, and you want a quick in and out trip to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe manager (I think) sent me home to go get the physical giftcard, when I was able to provide pictures. Upon return, the cashier had to type in the number anyway.
Cashier was fine, manager was rude. Iām never coming back to this Michaelās store and neither should you, the one on Cobb parkway is much more friendly (they are understaffed because itās late stage capitalism, so give the retail workers a break).
I have infinite patience for retail workers and waitresses and fast food employees- until the manager is rude and unhelpful for no reason. I wonder if I had been dressed differently if they would have been more pleasant...
