Comics and Collectible Buyer — Local services in Round Lake Beach

Purchased some Mags and Comics from the owner online. Said he'd ship but couldn't figure out his paypal so he refunded me 115 dollars of the 120 that I sent him. Then he sold me on some additional Conan comics so I sent a total of 395 to his sister in laws paypal. Money was on hold and he said he couldn't wait. I said that's fine refund me. He said she couldn't find the refund option. We decided we'd open a case so maybe she'd be able to better see the option. She never refunded my money and he stopped responding to my messages even though they were showing as read by him. Paypal finally refunded my money a couple of weeks later. Minus the 5 dollars dude never sent me back. Guy got me for 5 bucks. Total joke. Don't do online business with these people for your own...

I stopped by on a whim because I saw the mural on the side of their building. Lived in Round lake for 2 years and had no idea these guys were there, and I pass by it nearly daily! This is a little family owned shop and the owner was there to greet me. Looking through the shop and talking it up the entire time as he was pulling out comics I might be interested in. This place reminds me of my childhood. I ended up leaving with a whole stack when I was originally coming for just one thing. I’ll definitely...

Talked to Lou, very personable guy and talks a good talk. Ordered 4 boxes of books and he was giving me a bonus box, only got 3. Boxes were destroyed, books were not what we agreed to, some books were ripped up and cover less. Tried contacting Lou several times, refuses to answer, give partial refund, or send my additional books. NEVER PAY HIM WITH CASHAPP, you will lose money and books. Should not have trusted him…even though he said he was a man...
