Richards Chicken & Ribs — Restaurant in Round Lake Heights

What a waist of money !!! We drove from Ringwood to get chicken gizzards. We also order a cheeseburger meal and a hot dog meal.... we waited at the drive thru window for over 20 mins after ordering.... as we were waiting I noticed that there was only a couple people inside so I couldn't help but wonder why it was taking so long. You would think that any one of the employees would have popped their head out the window and tell us why it was taking so long.... but no. While we were sitting there the truck that was behind us didnt want to wait any longer and decide to park and go inside to place his order, he literally was in and out in 5 mins... and we were STILL waiting. When we finally did get our order the woman said with a smile sorry it took so long we're busy.. again there was maybe 3-4 people inside...so we grabbed our food and drove away...made it all the way back to ringwood, sat at the table and began to take our food out of the bags and noticed the chicken gizzards were not there...that was the whole reason we drove so far for food.... so I called them to tell them they forgot to put the gizzards in the bag ..the lady on the phone knew what I was calling about before I could even say anything, all she had to sa to me was ...not I'm sorry or how can I make this right...she said "I pulled the receipt, I didnt even charge you for them".....ok so if that's the case can some please explain why it took over 20 mins to get a burger and hot To make matters worse the burger was over cook and burnt the buns were soked with ketchup to the point they were as flat as paper. The hot dog was ice cold and the bun was soked with mustard. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. We couldn't even eat them. Now come the fries.... dry and cold. The sodas had so much ice there was hardly any soda in the cups.....if we lived closer I would have went back and showed them and ask if this is something they would like to eat.. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN if I could less than 1 star I would... I wish I could post...

the restaurant is adorable it gives off old town diner . HOWEVER, the food is nasty as hell im so sorry but im not . the lady who serviced me was very kind . but the food .. is nasty . the mac&cheese *looked well seasoned but idk what they put in that ..it tasted like government cheese and noodles i couldnt even chew it . the ribs have NO flavor , not even a lick of seasoning just tough meat in a little sauce . the chicken was not the worst but again coming from someone with seasoned taste buds .. it tasted bland and the fries were brown as hell . idk it looked/ tasted like everything was cooked in the same old grease . My friend who got a 4 pc dinner with fries instantly started feeling sick. the pricing was good though so , if you like bland old tasting food then this may...

If I could give 0 stars I would , I’ve gotten chicken from here on multiple occasions, for events and just for dinner never had a issue. Friday I ordered 30 wings for $48.50 only to have been giving the worst chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life !!! There was NO SEASONING NO FLAVOR AND FEATHERS on the chicken !!!!!!!!! I called the next day and was told the manager would call me NEVER DID! So I went up there the next day the worker called the owner who was very dismissive very rude and over talked me , clearly there money hungry cause don’t nobody be up there !!!
