We recently moved from out of state, and we were so excited to have a dog daycare conveniently close to our new home. However, in the two times we've brought our dog in, I've been EXTREMELY underwhelmed by the service. Not only did the staff not keep track of our dog having a complimentary day as stated on their site, but they double charged my card for a single day of daycare. My fiancee also stated that the second time we took our dog in, a member of the staff essentially interrogated her, acting like our dog didn't have a reservation when he did, saying our dog was skittish when they had 2 dogs he didn't know at the immediate entrance of the lobby, asking if our dog was going to bite other dogs or people, saying 'I don't know' as if she doubted my fiancee saying he's literally been in daycare before for the past 6+ months before we moved, and also asking what group he was supposed to be in when we were not informed of any part of that process. If he's brought in for a complimentary day, then your staff should've been able to evaluate at that time what group he should be in and what dogs he is best suited to play with. I'm very disappointed in the experience thus far, and I'm not sure we will continue giving this place our business since it feels very messy and mismanaged. The fact that they remove your dog's collar and let them run out freely without one so you can't quickly attach a leash, then let them run right into the lobby near an open door leading to the street is extremely unsafe. Also look into that one member of your staff, because her attitude is completely unacceptable. UPDATE: Not only was the same woman argumentative with me on the phone, clearly revealing how much they don't communicate with each other, she did the credit incorrectly. She still charged me $30 AGAIN and gave me a $30 credit, thus doing nothing to fix one of the many issues. So I get to call my bank and have them remove the charges. Don't take...
Read moreI recently had a doggy birthday party here and all the pups enjoyed it! They have an area where the dogs are allowed to roam and play and an outside area for the owners to sit. (Dogs can go to the outer area but we decided to let them play while we ate.) they decorated the entire front with beautiful decorations and allowed us to bring toys, a piñata and food! I would have liked if we had an extra table to eat since we used one of the tables to set up the food and presents. They had a speaker to allow us to play music. They also had cupcakes for the guests and a larger cupcake for the birthday pup! They also had goody bags for everyone which included some milk bones and a squeaky toy! The area which the dogs played at was honestly a bit dirty and there were hairballs floating around which some of the pups were choking on so I wished that would have been a bit cleaner. I recommend bringing some toys from home to provide more enrichment and bows for water. They did provide a big bowl with water but one of the pups decided that it only belonged to him haha! There were also about 3 toys in the area but they were a bit used and my dogs mostly enjoy stuffed toys which is why I suggested to bring some of their toys. All in all my pup and her friends had a ton of fun and everyone was ready for a long nap when it was over!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOtis came to Doggy Days needing a lot of help. Otis is a 15 month Silver Lab who loves people but struggles with aggression, walking, playing nice and listening. Otis spent two weeks training with Justin. Iām not sure if Justin and the staff at Puppy Days realizes this, but they saved Otisāās life. The transformation is unreal. In the last 24 hours Otis has showed me how he can walk. We walked for an hour- 40 minutes of working followed by his free call where Otis then was able to enjoy the flowers, grass and all the hydrants he wanted. He then held his climb position where he had remained in a down position where I got 2 hours to eat breakfast and have coffee as he enjoyed his bone. He did this with only a few minor corrections. Otisās entire body language has changed. I am beyond grateful for everyone at Puppy Days.
I have another dog Duke who joined Otis the second week of the Otisās training as Duke has become very timid of Otis. During Dukeās stay he was able to enjoy spending time making new friends in an environment where he felt safe and was in doggy heaven.
If you are ever questioning should I train my dog or itās too expensive- both things I have done.. Know in the end it is so worth it. Thank you for saving Otis and making Duke trust the world again.
