Casual Male XL Outlet — Local services in Round Rock

On September 14th, 2024, at approximately 6:40pm I arrived at Casual Male XL Outlet (at 4401 N Interstate 34). I was shopping for 2 specific items (a pack of black crew neck shirts in my size & a black leather belt). Initially I was worried about the timing since I work on night shifts & the store's hours don't align with my personal schedule well. Regardless I managed to arrive approximately 20 minutes before closing.

The recent store manager, "Ze", was very friendly and welcoming to me. I gave an apology for arriving so close to closing time but she reassured me that she loves to help customers and that it wasn't a big deal. I then walked to the section of the store that had packs of shirts and after a few minutes of searching "Ze" asked if I needed any help finding what I was looking for. I said yes and she assisted with the search finding 2 suitable alternative items (the specific item was unavailable).

After selecting one of the shirt packs I moved on to the belt. She again offered assistance but I found what I was looking for without issue. We began the "checkout" process and she was again friendly and energetic.

She was a great help in making the process efficient and with providing a great customer experience. The whole process took less than the 20 minutes until closing time but I didn't feel rushed nor did she neglect any aspect of her job duties.

P.S. "Ze" is in quotes due to it being a nickname that she told me I can refer to her with if I chose to...

I really hope I have the right place, but if this is the right place, there is a nice guy working here named John. I am very new to the Austin area and my GPS got me lost. The location for this place on Google Maps is incorrect and landed me in an old strip center. I called the store and John answered (and I could hear his smile which is a plus). He gave me exact directions to his location from where I was. The store had exactly what I was looking for, for my darling boyfriend. John was very attentive and thorough with what my needs were. I will definitely be back because of him and he was just overall a very pleasant salesman. I highly recommend him if you need help finding anything! I drove 116 miles to shop here to be completely let down because my second reward would not work when it was not expired and never used. I had called the management on Monday morning the day after I had went and explained my experience with everything at the register and with the manager on duty on how rude and unprofessional she was and she told me that she was going to give me 20% off on my next time I come to the store And then she said let me call you back in 20 minutes and then she changed her mind and took away her word.
