I am giving 1 star bc I really didn’t appreciate everyone trying to follow me and my husband around like if we were stealing. I usually do my coach shopping online, but my husband wanted to take me to an actual store for birthday gifts a week in advance. I was greeted nicely when I walked in and I kindly asked where the backpack section was. I was only going in there for a backpack to match the new shoes that he had gifted me. Once we picked the backpack, I thought you know that’s all I really wanted. Let’s leave again I do online shopping. I saw a small wallet to match near the register. I picked that up and we were going to check out, but then hubby says do you want any jewelry so we started walking towards the jewelry and perfume section and immediately we noticed everyone started kind of following us and looking at us staring at us, and I started smelling the perfumes. I already have a new one and did not like what was displayed so I didn’t want a new perfume. None of the jewelry was for my taste. I do have a set of hoop earrings. I decided to get the larger set when we went to pay. I noticed she was checking every single pocket like if we stole something it really made me very uncomfortable and at that point I almost didn’t even wanna make the purchase, but I did anyways because I was not going to allow staff to ruin my birthday shopping spree. But I definitely will never return to this store. For this reason I felt racially profiled and to come from another person of color made it even worse I could expect it from all the white...
Read moreI have been using brands like Michael Kors, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, and Chanel for many years. Recently, I purchased a Coach bag for the first time. Unfortunately, within just two weeks, the leather started to peel and melt for reasons I still don’t understand.
I asked if I could return the item or, if not, whether I could pay for a repair service. The staff explained that the damage was likely caused by chemicals such as water droplets, perfume, or hand cream, and therefore, it was not eligible for return. However, in all my years of using luxury bags, I have never experienced this kind of issue, so I found it difficult to accept that explanation right away.
What disappointed me more than the product itself was the staff’s attitude. They were cold, unfriendly, and spoke to me in a brusque manner—like an irritated neighbor rather than a professional. Their poor customer service only made me regret the purchase even more. When I finally said, “I understand, thank you anyway,” the staff member sighed in frustration and completely ignored me.
I don’t think I’ll ever buy another Coach product again. For the price point, the quality of the item was low, and the lack of professionalism from the staff was unacceptable. While the experience was disappointing, I’m ultimately glad I found out early. It reminded me that brands like Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, and Chanel are truly worth...
Read moreThe Coach Outlet is a great place to get last season's Coach bags at substantial savings - generally 60 to 70% off. Because Coach offers classic, beautifully made, bags and accessories, it really doesn't matter that they are last season's styles. I have Coach bags and luggage that is well over 25 years old! Of course, the outlet doesn't have a vast selection and the inventory changes regularly so it's worth checking frequently. Also, they have special deals around the holidays so it's a great place to get gifts. Do note, though, that they do seem to have some items that are made specifically for the outlet and I don't think the quality of the materials is as high. Still, there is no shop worn or damaged merchandise. If you love Coach bags, this is a...
