This was my to go place to buy my hispanic treats like Malta. Well i went to purchase a six pack of malta and i got the only one on the shelf. The package was torn but i did not though anything wrong about it, i was in a hurry as my son was visiting and i promised him i was going to have some for him, by the way i don't drink anything hi sugar as my health doesn’t allow it. I Got home and as i was putting the bottles in the refrigerator, the first one I took out was the one from the torn side and thats when i noticed it was half way. I went back to the store and talk to the cashier that was a nice lady and ofcourse she needed approval from the manager to do the return. He accused me of drinking the half bottle and told me i was a liar. Yes he did…he argued that i ripped the carton, i told him to go and checked his cameras and he will see that i purchase it broken. He took over an hour to return the money as he kept saying i did it. It was not until he ck the cameras that came back to do the return. I got so disappointed for the treatment this business owner has towards me that i dont think i will ever go there to buy anything. I have been loyal customer every time i go i spend good amount of money as i get all the foods i like. But i guess even if it’s further away i will go to fiesta. I hope other people that have this kind of treatment can share because I know im not the first one. I did got my money back. I was ready to get the bigger size but after he told me i was the obe that drank half the bottle i decided my son can make the visit without maltas. I tried to buy candles and they were advertised at 2.19 but they rang up at 2.49 in which some were 2.19 and others randomly ringing up at 2.49. I addressed it and they did not know b why but they didn’t want to fix it. False advertising on costs.
Spoke to manager he didn’t know why it was advertised this way if the barcode is different prices. Solid colors were different prices.
As a company you need to tell your consumer what the expectation is and not advertise for 2.19 and get to the cashier and say - because this looks different is a different price. That is false advertising!
