WARPATH PIZZA (Round Rock) — Restaurant in Round Rock

I ordered a pizza and some mozzarella sticks online. When I got home, the mozzarella sticks were good, but the pizza tasted like it was undercooked and was inedible. It had way too much of one topping and not enough of others. Plus, the crust was extremely dry and burnt like there was oven soot on the bottom as well from previous baking. I called back a day or so later and spoke to a manager about it. However, I couldn’t get a refund for just the pizza because of some rule that you had 4 hours to call back the same day because of people calling for a refund or replacement without a receipt before, and scamming the place for a free meal. As someone who worked in the food industry, I totally understand that, but I had a receipt. The manager was willing to offer to replace our order, which is better than nothing. However, if you stand behind your product being good, then you should refund when it’s not and you have a receipt as an option within a reasonable time ( more than 4 hours). Also, when my wife called back to discuss our order further, right out of the gate she was treated with such disrespect I’ve never heard in my life. Didn’t listen to what she had to say and went on the offensive. At this point, he can keep the offer of replacing our order because I wouldn’t want it from anyone who treats customers this way. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! It stinks sooooo bad! We thought maybe because of Partners next door?? Anyways, if you can get passed smoke and BO next I order a Hershey Kiss Martine. Not because I wanted one, but it was their special ! The “bartender” did not know how to make it as she kept looking at the ingredients on the “special” wall. Then she tells me they are out of Bailey’s but what they commonly use and taste the same is a cinnamon liquor?!?! HUH?! I’m not a bartender so I don’t know but it tasted horrible. It definitely seems more like a bar than a restaurant feel, very dingy and stinky inside but clueless staff. We finally got our order in (this place was not busy by the way) and ordered the biggest Eve Distruction they had add a half jalapeño’s. 50 mins later they bring us the smallest pizza. We were bringing this pizza home to our family, just trying to get a little date night before heading home. She told me the owners policy is not to give anything away for free. I didn’t want the little pizza for free or take it home. By the way they put jalapeños on the side- if you like jalapeño, you cook them with the pizza otherwise I would use my jar jalapeños in the fridge! My bill was $32.30 for 4 drinks (completely over priced since it was before 7- happy hour) Anyways, we called Pizza Delight on the way home, pizza was at our house in 45 mins on a Friday night with an actual busy place. Typically great pizza! However, most recent visit about a week ago we received an inedible burnt and sauceless pizza to go. Unfortunately realized when we made it home. We called to let them know and were told that Jason the manager would call us back to rectify the situation. We never received a call back. We went there when they opened the very next day and we even called several times and still no response.

The pizza was so hard it literally cracked when attempting to fold it and had ZERO sauce. We have eaten there many times before and its been great. Don't appreciate the lack of communication and no attempt to even resolve. Why spend money on something you cant even eat. The pizza was thrown out. Essentially we put money in the trash can. I've seen the review responses on here "hope you give us another chance". What we wanted was the decency of a call back after taking our number and us even visiting the restaurant the very next day and being told that Jason will indeed contact us and never contacting.

Update: looking at a yelp review from a month ago something similar happened to someone else (inedible food) and Jason did not return their call and then insisted no one recalled any complaint of the sort. We've called back several times since and he never seems to be there.
