Easy to get in and out as long as a person is traveling north or goes out the back way and turns west to go to the light. Otherwise traffic and back up just a little, especially at peak traffic times. The store has ample parking and most of it is reasonably close to the front door. There are usually plenty of carts and shoppers have a choice of a big cart, a smaller, junior size cart or a carry basket.
The produce section could be a little bit more enticingly displayed. They generally have a variety of selections and the produce is generally presented in a good condition. The store layout is typical grocery store, and some of their decisions as to where to put certain things doesnât singing logical. But once a shopper has been several times, they learn where the Tabasco is. (And itâs not next to the seasoning, but next to the barbecue sauce.). The frozen fruit and fresh meat section is my favorite. This store regularly puts on its steaks and other meat products that sales that make it worth selecting a few. They always have plenty of milk and cheese and eggs as well as bacon and sausages.
Super one usually has an ample number of cashiers checking out. I have only been there a couple of times out of probably 100 in which I thought there were two few cashiers for the number of customers. The most recent time a manager was on the PA asking all cashiers to report to the front. Most of the cashiers are friendly and expeditious. Tuesdays and Thursdays they have 5% off for seniors. Seems to me if theyâre not gonna have more than a 5% discount it could be every day.

   Read moreI have been shopping at Super 1 for the last 15 to 20 years and all of a sudden lately I have been coming in the store and the produce department is going DOWN ! they have started selling products from possibly new vendors that are changing the quality of the produce department I have found multiple items That has the rating number system on the products that starts with the number four and I have been told that that is not a good product. Some of those products are GMO I went yesterday to get cucumbers and whom ever they have purchased cucumbers from the whole bin was terrible. They were soggy soft irregular shapes. I went to get Roma tomatoes, and every last one of those tomatoes in the 2 to 3 bins were soft on the verge of going bad Nats all in them I went the other day and the watermelon bin that was in the produce department. I bent down to check a watermelon and nats just went all in my face. I called the produce clerk and told him that someone had busted a watermelon down in the bin and he said yeah that happens and I said well why donât you just take the bad ones out and clean it , and you can tell he didnât want to do it. It was an elderly Caucasian man, but he did it âŚthe produce department is not like it used to be and itâs getting to the point where Iâm going to start taking my business elsewhere and I hate to do that.    Read moreI donât normally do this but like most residents, my family and I spend a lot of money here. I have never had a problem with ordering cakes from the bakery until this past month. I had an incident a few weeks ago that cost me $70. I had ordered a cake for my daughterâs birthday. She even printed out a Battle Bots image on our home computer to be placed on her cake. When I got there to pick it up that Friday around 4, the image was not on it. I donât why the image was not on it the first time since the girl who took our order wrote down my number in case they had a question. But I had NO calls from the bakery. They only wrote a big Happy Birthday with my daughterâs name on the first cake. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and didnât have time to address the issue. Although Iâm not sure if the bakery could have corrected their mistake easily and her cake still look right. That following Sunday, my daughter and I went to the bakery with another copy of the image, receipt, and bar code sticker in hand. They told me all they could do was refund $10. I was not a happy person. Then I had to buy another cake and make sure they used the image. I paid for 2 cakes both 1/4 sheet in a week. They could have at least given me the second cake for free after messing up the first order. That was not good customer service. If the bakery had any questions they should...
