Game X Change — Local services in Ruston

I was completely blown away by the service I experienced today at game xchange in Ruston. I'm very new to game xchange but I have such low expectations for customer service just from the low quality from this generational workforce from previous experiences elsewhere. I really wanted the original cartoon of jungle book and was ecstatic when I found it but was disappointed when I got home only to realize it started skipping during the previews. I took it back in, not having a clue how I was fixing to get treated about trying to return it. I was so surprised when I told the employee that all the other ones I bought worked perfectly but this is the only one that didn't and I was sad because I really wanted this one out of all the ones I had gotten. He cleaned it and tried it in the store and it still skipped during the previews. He then took it upon himself to call several other stores until he tracked one down in bossier City! I'm elated and I have to say that I was so surprised that he went those extra steps to help me find what I was wanted....awesome experience....customer...

I walked into the store with my wife and son. A kind and poorly dressed bald man named Brennon greeted me wearing a sweat stained T-shirt. I was asked my business and explained that I was here to purchase children's DVD's, for my son. He assured me all items marked 499 and with no sticker would be buy one get one free. After searching through a poor selection and terribly organized shelves. I found 8 dvds 6 no sticker and two at 799. He began to check me out and my total was very far off from my purchase. He wasn't going to tell me that the store forgot to label 3 of my movies 799. He had a complete disregard for my dilemma. His excuse was that it happens. I warned him of this review and his words were again it happens. I'm very disappointed with my visit and I doubt we will ever return to this location. It's not good business to offer a set price and a specific deal to a customer. Then try to charge them for your inability to maintain your store. If I could cut it to a 1/2...

This place has kind of a good gaming selection. It’s what you’d expect from a resell store. But in the eyes of TCG players, this store has some pros and cons.

Pros- they have had some hard time find Pokémon sets, they have a few good cards for sale

Cons- Most workers there have little to no knowledge of cards. They do price match on TCG, but those prices change like a regular market. And they still try to sell me this charizard that has visible surface damage for 800. That card is not worth that much anymore especially with scratches over the face.

Guy is very pushy but he’s trying to make sales so I cannot bash him for that. The staff is very friendly and they keep the store very clean and organized.

——— Came back finally and bought a few Pokemon cards. The guy took them out of the sleeve, set them on the counter and then SLIDE it off the case resulting in scratches all over the backside of the card. Seriously. The cards were in GREAT condition for grading and are now not gonna be worth...
