I cannot speak highly enough of this firm and specifically the individual who represented me; Mark Morris Esq. I found myself in a difficult situation due to causing a car crash involving two other vehicles, I was surprised to find out I was being charged with (2) counts of Careless Driving, one for each car involved. After some research I discovered the consequences would be 4 points on my license and a monumental cost increase to my insurance. Considering the points I already have from a speeding ticket, the prospect of losing my license was a genuine concern. I decided to hire an attorney, which, like most people, was something I had never had to do before. Clark Law made it a seamless and painless process, I paid a very reasonable fee, they reviewed the police reports and my narrative of events etc. and then informed me of what they planned to do. Their professionalism was reassuring, and I got the feeling the issue was in safe hands.

My day in court arrived and the whole experience was unlike anything I had expected. I was under the impression appearing in court consisted of my attorney pleading my case Infront of a judge, who would listen, take the facts in to account and then make a ruling. The reality is that the entire process is chaos, dozens and dozens of people all waiting to see the judge at the same time, widespread confusion and irritability as to what is happening and then the actual time spent before the judge is less than 1-2 minutes. However, it became clear that being represented by my attorney undeniably provided benefits to the process. I was moved up the waiting list, avoided the seemingly flawed process of obtaining a public defender and more importantly my attorney was on hand to guide me through exactly what was going on. It was explained to me that the outcome of the case is decided between him and the prosecutor, once they reach an agreement it is presented to me and then the judge who simply confirms and memorializes the agreement. Essentially, the ability of your attorney to broker a deal with the prosecutor is what decides your fate.

Regarding the discussion had between my attorney and prosecutor, I was not part of it, I have no idea what was discussed. All I know is my attorney came back and informed me that he had established the following: One of the two charges was to dropped completely and the remaining charge was to be reduced to a far less serious offense which meant no points on my license. The prospect of having 4 points was reduced to zero points. It was remarkable.

On top of this, the driver of one of the vehicles involved had shown up in court and requested I pay $600 due to damage caused to her vehicle. My attorney discussed this with the prosecutor, and they agreed this was unusual and questioned why this would not be covered by her car insurance. Therefore, this was also dismissed.

Needless to say, I am incredibly grateful to Mark and his firm for delivering in the way they did. I would highly recommend them, naturally, you never want to be in a situation here you need to hire an attorney but if you do, at least make sure you...

First and foremost I want to thank the lord Jesus Christ for allowing me to ACCEPT and FORGIVE what happened to me on July 13 2019. I was very fortunate to have a law firm handle my case in the best way anyone can possibly imagine. In brief —- I had a major explosion repairing a vehicle and lost half my hand 11 surgeries and 5 years later unfortunately it was partially amputated and I still have to undergo more surgeries .
