Nike Factory Store - St Augustine — Local services in Saint Augustine

This is not a complaint about the service in the store I've always enjoyed shopping at this location. However, I was in the store on Monday 11/22 with my wife and while we were there we both observed 2 young black females with large shopping bags from the Ralph Laren Polo going around the store stuffing products in the bags (shop lifting) they went from one side of the store to the other stuffing items into the bags. They eventually left the store and were picked up by someone driving a blue Nissan Murano. We inquired with the store employee asking if they had they seen what was taking place and they said that they didn't and even if they did there was nothing that they could do about it that store policy does not allow them question or pursue shoplifters. The store manager indicated that they were reviewing security camera footage of the store. I understand the policy, but what prevents the store from allowing anyone with large shopping bags to enter the store unless they are making a return or exchange. It really bothered me that I get out and work HARD to be able to come into the Nike store and make a purchase and then see someone shoplifting hundreds of dollars of items. On their way out one of the girls said that they should have waited until Black Friday so I imagine that they will return when the store is more crowded. No, every shoplifter can't be stopped but you can make it hard for them if you don't allow the oversized bags to be brought...

I was disappointed when I went in Nike outlet this morning. There was a guy in there apparently a reseller that was buying up most of the sizes. I over heard an employee tell him “ man how do you think the customer feel when they can’t buy their size?” I continued to shop down the aisle and noticed him stacking several boxes like he had lost his mind. I said to myself I know they’re not going to let this guy do this. I looked over near the register and see many shoe boxes lined up by the register. How can management let this happen. ? I thought there would be a limit to the amount of shoes able to be purchased. The friend I was with was interested in a pair of those shoes but when we went back most sizes were completely gone. I’ve heard from a few employees that resellers come in and buy up most stock. Nike need to do better. I won’t be shopping...
