UPDATE 2023: Third year shopping at Ponds Plus. They continue to rock! If you have a pond, this is the place to go. They are knowledgable, care about their customers, stock a big variety of specialty products and continue to be the best. Their email newsletter is informational and helpful as well. Great family business.

UPDATE: it is now my second year with a pond and the team at Ponds Plus continue to be a valuable resource. They are very willing to share their knowledge and carry amazing products and plants. I was able to rent a vacuum and then ended up purchasing one as well. They gave me lots of tips and pointers. They are also very patient, as I do talk their heads off and ask tons of questions. If you have any water features, do not hesitate to shop here. They rock!

Excellent store and customer service. This past weekend was our second visit to the Ponds Plus. The first visit went well, but this past weekend was such a superior customer service experience that I wanted to make sure I took the time to write a review. I am brand new to caring for a pond, and the staff member working on Sunday, April 11, really took time and had a lot of patience with me. He educated me about ponds and the products, and took time to ensure I understand how to care for the water plants and pond. I'm a huge fan of this local small family owned business. I needed a new pump for my pond recently and Jim was incredibly helpful both over the phone as well as in person. He spent an hour getting me all set up and recommended a pump that was hundreds of dollars less than the one I would have bought online. Everything worked great, much better than I could have accomplished on my own. Do they charge a bit more for some items than you can find them online? I bought a house that had a pond with a waterfall and I knew nothing about caring for it. The water was all nasty from the winter. (I didn't know I needed to cover it.) I called Ponds Plus and the guy was very helpful and friendly. He gave me some info and told me to come in and rent a pond vacuum.

When I got there the gentleman gave me a cheaper alternative since my pond was so small. He explained some other issues with the waterfall.
