Sazon MICH Paleteria y Neveria — Restaurant in Missouri

This is hands down the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had in a minute! It blows all these very chained restaurants out of the water. You want clean authentic! I MEAN AUTHENTIC! Mexican food this is your spot. When you eat here prepare to be converted. You will never seek another fake Mexican restaurant again. This is what I ordered on a scale of 1-10

Tacos Alpastor 9.6/10 Tacos Asada 9.7/10 Asada Quesadilla 9.6/10 Chorizo Quesadilla 9.3/10 Asada Burrito 9.8/10

They also serve Birria Tacos which from others I’ve had around the Saint Charles area have failed at making them. I have not yet tried theirs but with what I have had from them as you can see. Those are probably going to be just as good.

Transparency - I ordered my food to be delivered via Doordash. I got sopa campechano, campechano asada & chorizo, fruta con chile, and a strawberry aqua fresca. Food arrives and it smell DEVINE!! A question for my dear foodie readers: How often does your food come to you, especially delivery food, looking camera-ready in the to-go container? NEVER, RIGHT!?! This food looked it it jumped off the pages of Foodie Vogue - and it tasted better than it looked!!

It’s okay. Kirkland products resold… Cheap food but they charge more than it’s worth. It’s good but not great.

I feel like they cut corners to save money just they don’t add anything to make up for it. The store is terrible, moldy products… it’s almost suspicious 🤨

Back to the restaurant! I’ve gotten a bag of the “fresh” bread and it’s moldy a day later! I fed it to the birds.

Ice cream around $10 for maybe $3 worth of ice cream in a plastic cup so it melts almost immediately!

I guess everything is overpriced

The best thing on the menu are probably Tordas.
