Two Plumbers Event Space — Local services in Saint Charles

(I want to be clear: we went to the location near Lindenwood. There is a separate event space off Zumbehl. Google maps will take you to the event space.) I asked for suggestions on Facebook about where to go to play pinball for a date night with my husband. We loved playing pinball in college. A majority of recommendations were for Two Plumbers. When we first entered, it took a while to get used to the atmosphere. It’s just… different. Definitely kind of like a “dive bar.” Definitely nothing fancy. We weren’t sure what to expect and this wasn’t it. BUT!!! We instantly saw all the arcade games and pinball machines and were really excited about that. We thought there was food. All they had were frozen pizzas. So, we got those and some of their micro-brewery beers. We enjoyed sitting and talking and then got started playing pinball. A roll of quarters will go a long way!! 25-50 cents each. We sat and had another beer and noticed a gigantic shelving unit with almost every board game possible!! As the evening progressed, people were sitting at long tables and playing games. I was like…. “Awesome!” We had so much fun that I wanted to go back the next day. And we can’t wait to bring friends and drink beer and play all kinds of games! SO. MUCH. FUN!!...

We recently threw a party at Two Plumbers Event Space. There was plenty of room for 30+ people to move around while remaining distanced (Covid), and enough video games for everyone to play simultaneously if they desired.

Katie and Rob, the owners, were both there along with their bartender. They were fantastic and very friendly. Rob showed me around the brewing room, lots of impressive new equipment there!

They let us set up our "buffet area" any way we wanted, and since I had no idea what the layout was before arriving, that relieved some stress from having to set up so much food and equipment in a short time window.

We planned a surprise 30th birthday for my husband here. The venue had a great vibe and more than enough space to social distance if you wish. The party went flawlessly. Katie was easy to work with and drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced. The bartender (Bailey?) was very sweet at well. Easiest event I’ve ever planned. We hope to plan more events here in...
