With the idea of hanging out with a couple of friends who are just looking to have a good time of bowling, we decided to try this alley because it was the only place that was open at 10am. After we have given this place several chances to redeem themselves, we will never come back to this location ever again. Every time we pay and get our shoes, we always had this one lady that never seems pleased and seems always frustrated when we ask her for help of any kind. The regulars that come to this alley are some of the rudest people we have ever seen. After attempting to start a new game with their old computer system, and not knowing how it works, there was this old lady that instead of helping us started yelling and swearing at our friends for messing with the systems. She just yelled “don’t mess with sh* that you don’t know how to do. Cause you mess with our sh*, you fix our damn screen”. And even after the lady at the counter fix the other lady lane, she started yelling down at me to wait for my turn after another gentleman bowled even though I was politely drying my hands and WAS waiting for my turn. This alley and the people of Harbor lanes have always given us a terrible time of bowling and never felt so heartbroken for the sport of bowling. If your a new bowler or someone that is looking for a good time of bowling, I would never recommend this location as everyone is always on edge and are just plain out rude. If you for some reason do go to Harbor lanes, just know that you have been warned for an awful...
Read moreI’m providing 4 stars, because ultimately my husband and I still had a fabulous time, after all the confusion. I had been told that industry workers (those that work in bars) get free bowling Sunday through Thursday, from 10pm until Close with a special VIP access card. The lady working the counter didn’t know the details around the free bowling; (I think she was initially under the impression that we had a coupon for one hour free, which was absolutely not the case) however, after a bit of back and forth, we were finally able to get situated. We started our evening at the bar, as there were leagues still playing upon our arrival. My husband ordered the clogged artery burger with crack fries, and LOVED it! (Give it a try!) I ordered the personal beef nachos, and wasn’t impressed. (The portion size for being a personal dish was HUGE; but the tortilla chips were INSANELY salty; so much so it made it difficult to eat a lot of it) Different chips, with less salt would’ve made the nachos 10/10! The queso they used was delicious! We’re looking forward to coming back in the...
Read moreI chose this location because of the neon lighting picture that was post here. I thought it’d be pretty cool for my kids, but upon arrival the lady at the desk told us they don’t do cosmic bowling. Then when paying for everyone she says well if I did the lights it would cost $4 more per person! So.... I guess she just didn’t want to put the lights on?? I wouldn’t exactly call blue lit up bowling lanes cosmic. It’s far from a true cosmic bowling experience. Then in the middle of our game she hit the wrong button and shutdown half the lanes and they had to be restarted. The bowling balls kept floating in the back on lane 8 and they would either have to get them manually or we’d have to hit the individual reset button. Worst $50 I spent on family fun. Food was pretty good from the bar...
