The Jefferson Yacht Club is definitely the place to belong to if you are looking for fun, great friends, dining and drinking. It has great amenities including a clubhouse, bar, pool and pavilion. It's on the Nautical Mile making it convenient to metro Detroit including St. Clair Shores, the Grosse Pointes, Clinton Township, Harrison Twp., Roseville, and Warren. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent, with a full dinner menu on Friday and Sunday - Lite Menu on Monday and Wednesday. I had the worst experience yesterday (new years eve). My grandpa and I came here with a friend and it took 30 minutes just to get drinks! Apparently the chef had called sick and half their menu was gone…. So we ordered what was available. It took us 2 hours of sitting doing nothing to realize that we weren’t getting our food. Sadly my grandpa passed out at this place and none of the staff helped us…. One of the other customers called 911 and we still didn’t get help by staff 😡 it was the worst experience that I have ever had! I would give this a -1 star but I can’t. Food was cold. We were in the outside building. It was supposed to have heat. They brought out 3 large heaters to heat the outside building in Michigan in October! They were kind of useless! It was freezing in that building! The staff consisted of teenage girls who really didn't have much a clue what was happening. We were told to bring our own plates, napkins, & utinsils. Well they weren't used and when we asked where our stuff was they literally had no clue. They were very rude. I certainly don't recommend...
