This review is only for people balling on a budget. I’ve got no complaints about the tailoring part of my bridesmaids dress, because it was a simple as hemming it and fixing the chest area, and making my split on my leg a little longer. My dress did have a weird ripple on the right side, that she just smoothed out with her hands like it was nothing important and she blamed me for it. All I did was put on the dress as delicately as possible lol. For this, I was charged $130. My bridesmaids dress cost $150. If I had known, I would have just bought another dress that fit a little better. I called her twice to ask for pricing, and the first time she never called back when she said she would, and the second time, she said she wasn’t finished ( 2 hours before my appointment of picking the dress up) and couldn’t give me an exact price. My mother also went there to have her 2 dresses hemmed and for this, she was charged $230. We walked out paying $360 all together. What bothers me the most, is that every time we asked how much it would cost, she would ignore and never answer. All tailors have set prices for each specific work they do on a dress. Jules was absolutely wonderful to work with!

My dress was very complicated to work with and required extensive alterations with less than 3.5 weeks before my wedding. The back was around 2.5 inches too small and the structured corset style cups were at least 2 cup sizes too big. I went to a highly rated seamstress and she told me my dress could not be fixed. I was heartbroken. But then I found Jules through a Google review. When I called her, she was completely booked but she made time for me and I was so grateful. I knew in my heart she was the one who was going to fix it!

Long story short, Jules literally pulled my dress apart and put it back together in the most perfect way. You would never tell any alterations were done to my dress. It fit like a glove. I had tears when I tried on after she fixed. I couldn’t believe it. I thought no one can fix my dream dress. Jules does miracles and I’m forever...

Jules is amazing! My daughter brought her dress into Jules 2 weeks before her wedding, for alterations. Unfortunately, the shop where she purchased her dress, ordered a size that was too big in some areas and not big enough in others. There was a moment when my daughter thought the dress could not be altered, and there was no hope of wearing the dress she had her heart set on for months. Jules is not only the best seamstress, but a top notch therapist! She talked both my daughter and myself off the edge of despair. She spent many hours working on the dress, and actually remaking it to fit my daughter perfectly. My daughter went from saying, " I just don't feel pretty in this dress, and this is not the dress I bought", to "I feel beautiful, and I don't want to take it off."
