TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I called on a Monday to schedule a bday party and was told to come and pay deposit and sign contract. I told them I would be there the next day. Called the next day to say I was on my way and was told they couldn’t accommodate me anymore. So I called around other places as I have already sent an invite out to all the parents… called back to see if they have open bowl and they said yes they did and I could bring the kids party there, cupcakes, decorations and the kitchen would be open for pizza. Just wouldn’t get the special birthday price… so I show up a half hour early on Saturday and was told no outdoor food, decorations or presents allowed if I didn’t book a party. So tried to go other places to see if could get in somewhere else and no one was open. Again I already had girls showing up at this place to hang out for 2 hours. Finally just paid all the extra money ($88 for 1 hour for 7 bowlers and shoes-ridiculous amount) then I went to ask the concession stand about making my pizza and she wasn’t sure if she accommodate that because I didn’t book a party and not sure if they had enough dough. She was able to make the pizza (kids hated it, it was terrible) I then asked for a pitcher of water for the girls and they told me because I didn’t book a party I couldn’t have a pitcher of water… now mind you when I got to the bowling alley there was maybe 15 people for one party there and they were going to turn me away because they wouldn’t let me bring in cupcakes and decorations (2 balloons) for 7 girls…this was the worst experience I ever had and will never recommend this place to anyone or ever go back. O they also had no air on and it was extremely hot in there!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE...
Read moreThere were tons of kids when we went, multiple birthdays going on and Shore Lanes decided to have a stripper documentary on the TV. There were woman in thongs twerking for all the children to see...so unbelievably disgusting, inappropriate and low class. We went with a group of 10, the bowling is very expensive. We paid $70 and didn't get to finish even one game using two lanes. We tried paying for more time but the people at the counter couldn't figure out how to do it. They charged our card twice for the additional time, couldn't actually give us the additional time and we had to wait 24 hours for the refund. We also ordered food, not only was it way over priced but they include 18% gratuity on orders over $50, I can understand gratuity if they bring it to the table but you have to go back and get the food too, not to mention, the woman who took our order was very rude...worst bowling alley in...
Read moreThis is an updated review after 2 years of calling this place my bowling home. As you can see for one, my 5-Star rating has dropped to a 3. First, let me give credit where credit is due. The staff is still excellent in terms of service, the pro shop can't be beaten and the environment is amazing. However, some cons can't be ignored. These are inconsistent oiling habits. It's not often but as a bowler serious about the sport you want a consistent house shot at the least. A little play is fine but to have a shot where the ball takes off right after the arrows is ridiculous. There have been a few other times where the lane was about as dry as a popeye's biscuit and that's unacceptable given the traffic this place has gained over those two years. Come at your own risk if you are trying...
