I had a terrible experience. If I could rate it a zero I would. I took a very sentimental 1920’s family mantle clock in to be tuned. It was my husband’s grandmother’s clock & I wanted to surprise him for his birthday. I was charged $215. I took it back back four times! The first time it wasn’t keeping time. Next, it was chiming 13 chimes for each hour. The third time it wasn’t chiming at all. The fourth time it completely stopped. Each time I took it in John would say, “It was working when it was here.” The first time he said he oiled it and added a missing screw on the face. The subsequent times he would NEVER tell me what he did! I took extreme care transporting it by putting it in a Costco bag & buffering it with a bath towel. Again, if I could rate it a...

I asked that the hands be replaced on a wall clock and when it came back, I later discovered that the hands had been straightened and put back on the clock and not replaced. I was charged $80. I also took in a mantle clock that needed a new chime mechanism. Again, it was returned to me in the same condition as before. The chimes had not been replaced and the chime still sounded sick. I was told that I had messed it up and that it would have cost $350 to replace the chime mechanism. I paid $100 for basically nothing. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you want your...

He asked me - so what do you want me to do now. I said he could be a gentleman and respectful and apologize, which he would not. He just shrugged his shoulders. As a visitor to Utah I was shocked and he made a horrible impression on me but I know that Utah is better than this and he is an anomaly, thank goodness. That said, I would not patronize this business. Businesses, their owners and staff need to respect women, and everyone for...
