This is an awful Walgreens, particularly the pharmacy. I have recently visited to get a medicated toothpaste. The lead pharmacists worked with me to find my prescription and quoted me a good price (of $21). He said it would be a day or so to fill it. He accidentally kept my ID, but did call me 30 minutes later and apologized. I returned to pick up my ID. (2nd visit). First time returning, 3rd visit. No "hello", no "may I help you?", no aknowledgment of my presence while I stood at the counter while they wisked about doing what they do. Finally I was looked at then asked sharply "pick up?". I gave them my name. They looked things up and then tried to give me the wrong script (wrong paste). No apologies, just a curt "you'll have to come back tomorrow". I returned the same time the next day. My scipt had not come in. Still a cold, matter-of-fact, curt "it's not here yet". I then responded "you guys call me me when it comes in, then"...this of course was now my 4th trip to Walgreens, still no script in my hands. 4 days later, after receiving an email saying the script arrived, I went back for my 5th trip, there was a different pharamcist, and tried to tell me the script was now $44 (my insurence doesn't pick this up). Again, a cold, unfriendly, banter. After I tried to tell her I was quoted $21 by the other pharmacist, she curtly said "You can come back tomorrow and talk to him if you'd like". Seriously? 5 trips? No attempt to find a better price with good RX? No discount for being a Walgreens rewards member? No help to try to find the price the other pharmacists quoted me? After I said this she responded with "That's all we can do". I went to seek out the store manager, he did nothing but listen to me, and when I looked at him for some kind of response, he stared at me blankly. I said "how would you like it if you had to come back 5 times and still not receive your script?" He said simply "I wouldn't like it". I felt like everyone just didn't care. Like they all would rather they had no customers to deal with. Completely exasperated, I drove a couple miles to the Overland Walgreens on Lackland Road. What a breath of fresh air. I warm "hello" by the cashier when I walked in the store. I got my script in a few minutes, for $18, with a very pleasant "hello, may I help you?", and "yes we have it, for much cheaper than $44." by the pharmacist...much better. I will go to that Walgreens instead. The one on Brown and St. Charles Rock Road needs a definite...
Read moreTheir “Nice” brand products taste pretty good and they have the best diabetic (including candy) supplies I’ve ever seen. That’s the good. The bad is the Pharmacy. To get off cheap they replaced the pharmacists with “Pharmacy Technician’s” at 1/5th the pay. They don’t seem to know how to do anything but scan bar codes, make change and be rude. Their help wanted ad for pharmacist’s says “As a Walgreens pharmacist, you’ll be front and center“ (The truth is the pharmacists spend their time in the back of the pharmacy filling prescriptions as fast as they can. My guess is a quota system.) “Interacting with our customers” (Asking for a pharmacist after an 18 year old “Technician” couldn’t understand that 40mL of insulin won’t fit into 30mL syringe got me glares and glimpses over her shoulder at her work station. Again smells like a quota system.) “Asking and developing strong patient relationships.” I don’t see how. The employee turnover rate is unbelievable. Decades of being a customer currently taking eight different prescriptions and no one could remember my name. Literally dozens of incidents later we began to have serious doubts about the competency of the pharmaceutical staff. I’m 65, Sis, 69, my Mother, 93. After decades with Walgreens the service got so bad we took our families pharmaceutical business across the...

Finally Keyanna the manager comes out and is like are you here for pictures. I said yes. She said she'll be right back. Sure still waiting. I look over and now she's ringing up customers. Apart of her job I get it. Then after helping the customers she conversation with the other two employees about other stuff. At this point I'm thinking you guys helped 4 people and now decide to sit here and talk about whose on the schedule for Sunday and what occurred for an event.
